Glad you guys are painting a positive picture for us. I'm not as optimistic as you are. I think it's going to be a bumpy ride unless that D-line comes together quickly!

OU is going to be Freddy Kruger, a nightmare to a lot of teams.
Ou didnt give up quick passes imo Ou got hurt mostly by the opposing qb's ability to extend plays against us which all boils down to Dline.. corners cant be expected to cover 10 to 12 second.. Ou corners likely had to cover longer than most other schools in the sense running around time etc..
I haven't looked forward to a season this much in years. I'd really like to see the Sooners shut the collective SEC trap flappers the hell up.
They actually think there's at least 5 SEC teams better than us...

if they max protect that means they are taking one less wr or te away from running a route and that means we shouldve given up less yards but i digress
What it really means is the DB's have to try to cover WR's longer and that always favors the offense.
Right. Asking a DB to cover for 4+ seconds is a recipe for disaster.
We'll be better if the secondary can stop getting lost out there
A young player has to step up and surprise or overperform on either side of the ball.

Mason Thomas ain't shown me nothing so far. I still don't really trust this defense, but time will tell
The flashes are there, now he simply needs to stay healthy and be connsistent.
