If you are willing to put your name on trash work because a customer doesn't want it done correctly, that's on you. I've been in this industry for going on 25 years and have not, and will not do this. If a customer doesn't want work done correctly, I don't want their business. That is also an excuse by many contractors that do sub par work. Blame the customer. I know it happens on occasion but many lazy or incompetent contractors choose to do bad work and don't care one way or another.
Those First Company units usually aren’t in the best complexes. Highly probable the whole building smells like United Nations and the tenant has 40 cats
Everyday down here in florida I see this. These 20 van companies take anyone out of high school or off the boat give them 2 week drive around crash course on putting refrigerant and capacitors in units and call them certified.I love going out everyday exposing these companies handing out 500 hundred dollar invoices for a capacitor change out when all they needed was a coil cleaned. Have fun yall.
Yep that's a licensed professional. All right. Not really.There was this guy My family was going to hire and he claimed he was licensed but I seriously doubted it. He couldn't prove it. The other thing was he sold strictly. Goodmans and Goodman said he was not a dealer. I was like I work on Goodmans all the time And we don't even sell them . So I was like you're going to go for somebody else as in a real HVAC company. That sales equipment that doesn't break down when you turn around to leave the job site. 😂
Every company has some. Those guys who just change filters and call it a day. My issue is with the bosses of these companies that don’t do shit when you bring it up. You look like a snitch. Partially due to it being a workers market in hvac at the moment.
Dont worry about what you cant control man. If I was able to fire every person that did trash work, there would only be a few dozen Technicians in the entire state. 😆🤦♂️ Just do your work to the best of your abilities. It's made me lots of $ over the years by being better than the hacks.
