I'd say the same about concert performances as well, but I understand there are some iconic concert performances that can be watched individually. Performances like Cypher 3 would just be much better when you watch the actual concert movie imo, instead of a fancam.

Before the whole Wings comback, bighit made an announcement that Namjoon was gonna go get his knee checked because of a bit of fracture. That he was taking a bit of a break from practicing for the comeback but he's gonna be ok. Was just instructed to be more careful. And when that came out we were all like what kind of choreo does the comeback have to have that injury?? and then we saw the Blood, Sweat and Tears choreography and we understood why. it was so much jumping and not just in place, they were jumping to their next formation.

A tip to sing along to Korean is not think too much trying to read each and every single letter, it's better to listen and repeat. The romanization of Korean, which is what you were reading, are made specifically for English speakers because, for example, when they write the vowels "eo" together it's supposed to be pronounced as a closed "oh" and not separately as "eh-oh". Another example are the vowels "ae" together pronounced as "eh" (see the word "saranghae" [love you] you pronounce it as "sah-ran-heh" and not "sah-rang-hah-eh"). I hope this made sense 😭😭
I'm actually not sure if i'm correct by saying it was made for English speakers but that's what makes sense to me because of their use of vowels together to make a certain sound and also the use o "ng". If the romanization was created thinking of my native language, Portuguese, they wouldn't need to use vowels like that, they'd use our accents, so the word "saranghae" for Portuguese speakers would be written as "saranrrê" with two R's to make the H sound and "ê" to make the "ae" sound

One day you should watch a full BTS concert with a trailer, VCRs, and breaks between songs. As fun as it is to watch performances, I think watching it as a concert adds a lot of charm to the experience. Also, a nice addition would be to check side concerts from the tour (like behind-the-scenes videos from the DVD "Memories of 2017").

A tip to sing along to Korean is not think too much trying to read each and every single letter, it's better to listen and repeat. The romanization of Korean, which is what you were reading, are made specifically for English speakers because, for example, when they write the vowels "eo" together it's supposed to be pronounced as a closed "oh" and not separately as "eh-oh". Another example are the vowels "ae" together pronounced as "eh" (see the word "saranghae" [love you] you pronounce it as "sah-ran-heh" and not "sah-rang-hah-eh"). I hope this made sense 😭😭
I'm actually not sure if i'm correct by saying it was made for English speakers but that's what makes sense to me because of their use of vowels together to make a certain sound and also the use o "ng".
If the romanization was created thinking of my native language, Portuguese, they wouldn't need to use vowels like that, they'd use our accents, so the word "saranghae" for Portuguese speakers would be written as "saranrrê" with two R's to make the H sound and "ê" to make the "ae" sound

One day you should watch a full BTS concert with a trailer, VCRs, and breaks between songs. As fun as it is to watch performances, I think watching it as a concert adds a lot of charm to the experience. Also, a nice addition would be to check side concerts from the tour (like behind-the-scenes videos from the DVD "Memories of 2017").
