Yesterday I turned 68. Not the same as 12. Well. We got all our memories but are constantly told, "Stop living in the past" Wanna hear when I was 12? Ha Ha ha! Okay fine. It is strange we can so easily remember and never forget. Scientifically though, If you get a memory flashback from your childhood, do not try to draw it out. Go over what you feel and do not try to fit anything more into it. Rest and it will come more clear by itself with out tampering with it. Just like forgetting a name. If you let it go a few minutes it will come back when you are thinking something else. Don't mess with the picture. It is your life. Love Ya' Man! I feel what you do. One last word on this. It is so easy to cross memories from different periods in your life affected by your emotions. Do your best to keep that separate. Remind yourself of where you lived or where you worked to better place a time stamp on the memory.

“my short term goals are to do a session with members of Led Zeppelin…” Omg, I always dreamed of seeing Yoyoka playing with the three Zeppelin that are with us. Ever since I saw her playing Immigrant Song five years ago. Led Zeppelin has always been her favorite band and no one channels Bonham as perfectly as she does. If she says that, it's because she has a reason. Maybe the three masters are planning something? It would be a dream come true not only for Yoyoka but for many of her fans!

I was an English teacher to speakers of other languages for 35 years, and taught many, many Japanese students. アメリカに居ると、自然な自分で居られるんだよね。自分のままでいい、周りに合わせなくていい。そして色んな人が居るのが普通。すごく分かる気がします。自分はブラジルで生まれ育って、アメリカやフランスなどで暮らしたけれど、どこの国もそんな感覚で気持ちよく生きられていました。チャレンジすると、最初は不可能なように思えたことでも不思議と道が開けてきます。助けてくれる人が現れます。よよかちゃんもきっとこれから何度もそういう体験をすると思います。これからも応援しています！

I am half-Chinese, my husband is black... my father was not accepting of him, in the beginning. I was 18, now I'm 58. My father is no longer alive, but I know he would have adored my 2 sons and would be proud to call them his grandsons.

I think it's great that you have long and short-term goals; and that you have a desire to pursue them. One word of advice that I would give you is to always be true to yourself and your values. Never let anyone tell you what to think, or do. Pursue the dream that YOU have in your heart. You're much greater than 90% of the entertainers in the USA, because you haven't been corrupted by the entertainment industry.

Not all people are what they seem, so remember to stay true to your heart and listen to yourself. If you are ever in question no matter what age you are, you can ask your parents. ただ１点だけ。自分のような平凡なおじさんが言うのもおこがましいのですが・・・・
USでないとだめ、英語じゃないとだめというような「縛り」になってしまわないようにだけ気をつけてもらいたいなと思いました。
音楽は国も、言語も、性別も、人種も、あらゆるものを飛び越えることができるものだと思っています。そして、私はよよかちゃん自身が音楽だと思っているので特定の制約だけはつけて欲しくないなと思っています。
適切な例かわかりませんが、日本語歌詞のみで歌っているにも関わらずUS含めて全世界で受け入れられているBABYMETALの例（戦い続けて勝ち取ったところありますが）もありますし、ネット社会になったおかげで今後、世界はより多言語の歌が聞かれるようになると思います。
英語の歌詞が一番受けいられやすいとは思いますが、よよかちゃんが作るものなら日本語でも十分、聴く人の感情をゆさぶることができると私は思っています。
英語歌詞じゃないとだめという制約になってしまうと、ほんともったいないと思ったので書かせていただきました。（そんなことわかってます！な場合はご容赦を・・・・）
