- Battlefield 1 Operations are so much better then the Grand Operations of Battlefield 5. And yet, up until recently, I didn't play either. So I fixed that after much encouragement and it's been going well. So here's a fun gameplay displaying exactly why I think BF1 Operations are a masterpiece, yet to be bettered.

Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield 1 is the fifteenth instalment in the Battlefield series, and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4. Its not even close. For me BF1 tops BF5 in every way. Operations on BF1 is a more simple design but it works so well just trying to take and defend sectors. I enjoyed all operations but my favourite was the one that ended at Fort De Vaux. Those 2 maps are so much fun to play Operations on.

Oh you missed out - BF1 Operations was a real masterpiece of gaming theatre and atmosphere. BFV Grand Operations was like something stuck on the sole of a shoe! ;)

Artillery Truck players are actually the biggest virgin bottom feeders. Sitting behind the out of bounds line just chuggin' away...

Idk man ever since i have subbed to GGG i have increased my friend count from 0 to 1, so its pretty high than 50%. I'll say it's probably 69%
It's a masterpiece until you get killed by a horse that doesn't die, a camper in a light tank or artillery truck.
Avoiding vehicles is apart of being infantry in every battlefield game.
Horses are beyond easy to kill once understanding how assault class works. Assault has many tools to deal with hoe vehicles same with support.
@@InfinityHS Well I mainly play support and I can destroy the vehicles with HE mortars or limpet charges if I spam the smoke grenades, but the horses..... they don't make any sense. You can fire 4000000 LMG rounds into their bum and they'll gallop away like nothing happened.
@@Kizarat If someone on the horse is fast enough they can heal and give themselves ammo if they ate smarter than your average player. Usually if they get focused by more than +3 players they will die oh yea try focusing the man on top instead but I think the grenade crossbows would actually be a good substitute for the limpet charge vs horses. That’s what I like about Battlefield 1 though you can make 3 different slots with all classes.

BF1 operations is the superior version. I'm so happy I decided to go back to BF1, I'm finally having fun playing Battlefield again. Who knows maybe I'll be real crazy and try BF4 haha.

It would have been great if BF1 had another year of support. If only they added a Balkan front, the German campaign in Namibia, Cambrai and the battle of Beer Sheva it would have made a complete WW1 experience
Honestly, I'd have had some really odd and seemingly tedious things that then go utterly awry... Like your Tommy squaddies/ Fritz frontschweine/ Amis-Yanks/ Mehmetcik/ Poilus need soup, so you've got to lug a bunch of cans through a whole insane trench network while it is under attack, with a bonus for time if the soup/soupe/goulash is till hot by the time you make it to the survivors. But you are right, Salonika would be interesting, I'd think Tanganyika/East Africa, a Q-ship vs. U-boat, Belgium retreat or Antwerp episode in the main game would be brilliant.
As a total game dunce, I am always getting startled by things like how on Campaign you can't melee the flamenwerfer bastidges, but if you get the flamethrower "kit" elite class box of hot death you can get killed by melee? There's some stuff like that. I see how the opening of the campaign is a great introduction on how the controls work and the basic parameters of the game, but a few more tutorials might have helped...

Welp I'm glad you can enjoy that game. But Bf5 as far as I'm concerned has a dwindling playerbase and bf1 which came out like 2 years before it is still going strong.
Shame you think that coz bf1 is pretty great to me.

Yea, it's like that when trying to join game modes other than operations or even conquest, even conquest is hard to get into. Operations is pretty much the only one that is fully alive at this point

The game is very alive, you gotta change your filter settings. Also, the operations events are where everyone will usually be playing
Try resetting your server browser and you are good to go

Honestly after BF4 (Personally never rated the game that highly, it just feels like a BF3 reskin with more vehicles and snipers being nerfed for no reason. Launch issues for a year/two. Recycled maps in the premium pass. I don’t think it lacks content like 5, but none of the content they added had any impact on the game itself e.g. weapon pick ups, game modes, etc) BF1 just took all the things I thought 4 did badly & did it amazingly. I would rank it as top 3 best Battlefields of all time and I’ve been playing since 1942.

Not in my opinion. This was the start of "Casual Field" instead of it being Battlefield.

That's why you don't have to pay. I provide this all for free. If people want to support that then they can. But we treat everyone equally.
