- In todays video we are talking about calving and having a look at the calves and cows. Getting pens ready for calves. Also the ban has been lifted and dung spreading is a go. Loading the dung spreader and trailer with dung for the field to make the grass grow.

We once had a cow with one teat had summer mastitis as a heifer kept her for years had several twin heifers out of her and she would give over 6000 litres a year unfortunately in her last year she got ecoli mastitis in that teat and that was it for her good vid nice to see you uploading again

Great Video, what is your yearly milk yield per cow? I am interestet in that, because here in Germany most farmers feed their cows a TMR with maize in it. And you feed your cows only with grass silage.

Ever thought about jerseys in your herd instead of holstiens and how many cows are you milking
Haven't thought about Jerseys as we are happy with the Friesian as they have good bull calves. We are milking 35 cows a t the moment.
