My issue with RVs is the price. Why is there always the "reach out" disclaimer to buying an RV? Why can't they just put out there "best price" and save us all a lot of time and frustration? A beautiful coach to be sure!
Yep. 3709 Ventana has been my favorite model for years! Can't wait for retirement. Sadly I saw a brand new ones for the mid 200s 2 years ago.
Just watched this-great review! And you're spot on, Newmar's trickle down approach means that every year with the middle, the model lines get nicer and nicer. One tip, Izzy, notice a little trouble with that basement battery door. Push on the latch handle, avoid damaging the skin of the door. Don't ask me how I know. :-)

Beautiful coach! Just retired from 39 years of semi driving and when I got the semi I retired outta I did a emission delete on it and saved a ton of headache, no more emissions check engine and sitting at a dealership for 2 or 3 days. For the time being I’ll stick with my new gulfstream conquest class c . Love the body paint and the whole interior on it. I’d like to drive that!
This is a nice coach. Love New Mar. love the paint job! Nice bedroom and big bath room in the back. New Mar did very well with this model. I love the storage trays. You can put a lot of storage on them. It’s a very nice rig. Thank you Izzy and MJ for showing this New Mar. Hope you have a great day.

It would never work in the west, that B6.7 is under powered for our mountains. It’s really a couples coach and a single bathroom would be adequate. I do like the surround camera system.

Great video. This is the floor plan we love in the Ventana. Bath and a half, great size. No to cold camping. Our trip to LS was 20 degrees, snow on the way, rig was a mess and so were the roads. I like cool weather camping though.

Really good review with some substantial structural info in there....ie...16" on center framing with residential style insulation...a true 4 season coach...ahhh !!! ...pointing out the cross bracing underneath...walls not vacuum bonded...no side radiator, rad must be removed for even the simplest engine fix ? $$$$$ Great storage...maybe even for our eBikes underneath !
Great review of a Ventana, MJ and Izzy. Bath and a half in a 37' coach is pretty amazing, that's a lot of features in the length. We do miss having a fireplace, even if it isn't real, the ambiance is nice. Maybe have to run a video of a real fireplace on the TV!

I’m happy to see you guys just reviewed our rig. We came out of a Baystar 3609 after 6 months into this model. We thought the same thing. 43 foot plus. But once we got in this we were like wow it’s perfect inside. Maybe the larger rear bathroom in the 4369 would be better especially the shower, but for over 100k more this will do for our non full timing needs.
FYI. That decorative wood on the mirrors is on with strong magnets so you can remove them and clean the mirrors behind them.
Yes we've taken those off since this video on other ones and it's such a cool little feature for cleaning!
Looks really nice but I'm a Super C kinda guy. With that said, if I was to get a Class A, Newmar is where I would go.

YA, winter camping! I've been trying to talk the wife into camping at Yellowstone in January for years. Our local state park would let us "dry-camp" in the campgrounds in the winter to stay for cross-country skiing. Vandalism by those outsiders ruined that. We've found ski-resorts that allow overnighting in the resort's parking lot when you bought lift passes. The Ventana is a good value for a well-built diesel.

Great review. Before we got our Newell, we considered Newmar vs Tiffin in 2019. Both are great coaches, each with advantages and disadvantages . One of the things that frustrated us was that the bay doors on the Newmar were almost impassible to close and latch. It looks like that issue has not been fixed

You guys always do great reviews- but I disagree on two points- kitchen counterspace is poor- the stove and sink take up most of it; and it appeared to be a radius shower- very bad if this is true. Otherwise, even ignoring the good price it is a very very impressive coach

Izzy my brother just picked up a 2022 Dutch star and I have to tell you the bay doors do not close properly I don’t care if they’re called slam latch but you shouldn’t have to slam them five or six times to get them to close I just watched do you have a problem with the unit you’re in you are reviewing. Newmar needs to address that whatever the mechanism that they’re using for their door closures it’s not right for a half $1 million couch! Thomyt

Can you image needing to dump, - in a frozen environment - and then dealing with a slinky that is rolled up and frozen.

During this video I heard MJ state when looking at the Ventana that she would love a 4 season RV. I thought the Baystar was a 4 season RV with heated storage compartments? When we bought our Tiffin in 2019 we were debating between our Phaeton and the Ventana. What drove both of us crazy was that Newmar did not vent the kitchen stove to the outside. I noticed on this 2022 they still don't vent to the outside. Also, the Phaeton had a raised rail chassis and the floor was flat front to back. Honestly, Newmar does a great job except for some very simple items that don't cost a lot to correct.
