Hi, Its a lovely shortcut to make a montage, but I am trying to do this, its not inserting videos properly, taking long videos and inserting on timeline not according to my marker? :( inserting video is very long as per the clip length, its taking in point which I have given but taking end of the clip as out point and inserting long clips.please help and resolve this problem. I followed ur steps. Regards

Don't worry. I had zero clue about this and I've been using PP for 7 or 8 years. I learn a lot of things when I'm actually trying to learn something else.

Great video, wish I'd watched this BEFORE beginning my project and arranging all of my Dad's clips on the timeline. Yes this is much easier than approach I took as a iMovie user; editing them on the timeline and trying to slide everything around.to line up with the waveform spikes.

I'm editing a video to a song where there's a very fast beat and as I was selectin in and out points for my clips and trying desperately to get them right on the beat (I'm a beginner in Premiere Pro) I thought to myself "there must be a more conveneient way to do this" and jumped on UA-cam and found this video tutarial. Editing to music has always been one of the most time consuming parts of video editing for me. I don't know if this automated tool will work for my types of videos (at least, not the majority of my videos), it can open up some possibilities for B-Roll and such. However, I had no idea a software like BeatEdit existed! If a software can pop in and add all the markers for me, that would save me heaps of time. Thank you for this tutorial! I will definitely have to check out this software.
