- 24 Oct 3310: The Thargoids have attempted to take control of Seo Jin-Ae, according to an Aegis researcher, leading to renewed concerns about those rescued from the Titans.

Just broadcast Meatcanyon videos through her head and when the Thargoids see them they'll be so worried they've leave the bubble for good.
First inter-galactic memetic hazardous broadcast. I wonder what kind of horrors that would invite...
@@Midnight24435 hopefully it's the kind that the goids are afraid of and will have them running scared.
I’m so excited to see how this develops
On-foot zombie massacre missions sounds appealing.
I do want on foot content to feel more worthwhile.
Yep too a 5 year old 🥱
Zombies. IN SPACE. Space. space.
SPAAACE!
Y'all forgot the evil laugh...
Goodbye Moonmen
Fine, if they have thargoid controlled humans, but i want to see actual thargoid soldiers. They better start dropping into settlements too instead of what they might implement be just ground combat zones with thargoid zombies
So it took SEVEN of their titans to get blown up before Thargoids decided "Hey, maybe we should do something about this."
Well, a hive mind, by design is only as intellegent as the "queen"
The reason we have such rapid adaptability is because we have millions of individuals who all think differently to get round problems.
If the goid queen is stumped on a problem, thats it.
@@The_Entity A "hivemind" that is controlled by a queen isn't a "hivemind".
*Bees has entered the chat*
Maybe they consider titans, like scouts and interceptors disposable.
@@The_EntityThousands or millions of years of being at the top of the food chain will do that. Then humans come along with their massive technology leaps over the span of a few thousand years, they don't know what to do. The Proteus wave was a fast reaction though, they pulled an Uno reverse in almost no time.
This has been a most excellent year for Elite Dangerous, pity the haters 😂
Pity the console players fr tho
@@ConnorLinleyformer console player here: After not playing anymore since before Odyssey, about a month ago I finaly made the decision to transfer the funds of my Xbox account to a pc account. ED was on sale on Steam. I was overjoyed to find out that complete account transfers are now possible and work like a charm. Just want to spread awareness.
Zomboids if you will
Sounds like a project to me.
@@DrTarteIf so, I hope I fare better fighting then in a Dominator suit than I do fighting them with a rusty knife and a frying pan!
That coma was a cloud sync
I clicked on this as soon as I saw it and now I’m scared that we might be fighting alien controlled human vessels
You're scared, I'm excited!
I feel really quite sure that it’s simply something for Halloween next week. I guess we’ll eventually find out.
What if player vessels are controlled remotely by the thargoids? That'd be something.
Been a long time comin'...
Hmm, what if the Thargoids turn out to have a secret base somewhere REALLY far, and will send in a new set of Titans that are orders of magnitude stronger? After all they are losing the war, so unless they do something they may be screwed. The first set of Titans might've been an exploration group that was sent to scout before the main fleet flew out, so that the Thargoid Empire could know how many forces they need to send, and if the main fleet is needed at all and the Scout Team couldn't just take the galaxy on it's own.
Gonna keep this in mind...
They sent the Titans to test us, they now know how we'd react to their invasion so will now use a different tactic.
Nah I don't think they're scouts. The titans don't make much sense for a scouting mission, especially when they specifically targeted ammonia worlds. This is their invasion force and were attempting to use ammonia worlds as footholds. They were intending to encircle us from all sides and slowly push us to extinction.
They know we're new to the galactic stage so they didn't think they needed more than 8 titans after the disaster of the Proteus Wave. But after they lost 6 out of 8 cores of their invasion force so quickly and started to lose the 7th (Raijin) they finally started to panic and realized they must have a mole, being Seo. We can absolutely expect more titans in the future and they may develop a temporary answer to nanite bombing. But Cocijo is already deployed and we're putting pressure on it so it's difficult for them to reoutfit it to counter nanite bombing. So for now we can expect tighter security and a change in tactics, at this point they can only try and delay us as much as they can until they can put together a new invasion force.
I mean, i love this idea, but has FDEV not said that the Thargoid war will be over by years end in one of their Unlocked live-streams? I swear I heard that somewhere...
Back around the time we destroyed Taranis, I theorised that they might have been busy building bases on the nearby ammonia world. It's possible all the Titans have been doing so over the past few months.
@Sighman gateway for full atmospheric planets and DLC, maybe?
I bet ten million credits that she's actually controlled, and it's all thargoids that are saying this stuff, based on her memories and knowledge.
I personally doubt it. The Thargoids are dumb, but not THAT dumb. They wouldn't want to risk losing such a valuable asset. She's literally a high ranked individual in the organization that gives us the tech we need to kill them. So having her expose their hivemind and saying the bugs got everything wouldn't make much sense.
Or the guardians have been. The entire time.
@@corvusdove874I'd be okay with that as long as the rumors that Salvation was uploaded to the Guardian Construct are false.
Raijin took more than 60 days to be destroyed, no way Cocijo be vulnarable before decembre. I bet it may not be destroyed before december 15th, maybe before christmas.
Great images, as always !
Always a pleasure to watch your channel 👍
Like The Borg in Star Trek... The Borgoids! ... O and I can confirm the current no-fly zone at Raijin. This dummy went over there.
all we need know is q to turn up and say the hall is rented the orchestra is engaged now lest see if you can dance.
I went over there also just barely made it out
Lets be real, FDev might Threshold 19 that emeffer
Stepping it up. Love it.
It was more or less a "human shield".
Thargoids be going: i'm sure they wouldnt harm their own kind, so they stop attacking and we can be friends.
Zombies, eh? Time to get ourselves some shotguns. Every Marine gets a shotgun, every pilot the amount of Frag Canons that fits their ships hardpoint limitations. I expect every MAC and Railgun on every capital class ship to fire canister rounds from now on. I don't care how you desgin a shotgun shell the size of a Minivan, just do it.
"I don't care how you design a shotgun shell the size of a minivan. Just do it."
I know some engineers who'd probably want that in a T-shirt.
Ooooh imagine hostile human ships from thargoid zombie factions. That could be interesting.
Zombies or nor there seems to be one thing everyone is ignoring. There is only one titan left out of the supposed 'invincible' eight titans. We must make every effort to destroy the last titan and stop the Thargoids invasion once and for all.
Human Thargoid will be a new faction
*Drawing a comparison with the Gene Stealer Cults of the Warhammer 40K Universe, I'd like to see all those rescued from the Thargoids form a new Galactic Power with Seo Jin-Ae as its head.*
This could get veeeeery interesting! Even if the returned humans do turn out to be unwitting sleeper agents, I don't regret rescuing a bunch of them. It's the right thing to do, and even if they do become a horde of thargzombies, better for them to die by human hands than whatever the Thargoids would have done to them.
Thargoid Zombies? _Called It!!!_
Halloween, huh? Always scary stuff.
1 More To Go Boyz!!!
Has everyone forgot about the Grey Swan incident? Did we ever find out what happened there?
Hmmm, Zombies to fight on foot, over Halloween weekend perhaps
Would be a nice to get a bit of a preview for the holiday, even if the real show is down the road.
Zomgoids or Tharbies or Zargoids or Tombies? Zargs? Zoids? Tharbs?
Sorry, I need to correct you. They're not dead. Zombie is the wrong one. The correct term would be thrall.
Unless it is something else animating the bodies and fooling the scans… then they ARE zombies.
But otherwise, you’re correct. Thralls would be the appropriate term.
@Wyrnikh look up the definitions thrall is still correct. Even in Star Trek the borg are a collective, but there are some referred to as thrall
Fodder....
Actually, the original use of the word "zombie" simply refers to people mind controlled with Vudu. The use of the word referring to reanimated corpses didn't come around until much later.
Space Pirates and Zombies
sounds like we best go down the Winchester in Colonia and wait for all this to blow over
If authorities had any idea of controlling information and intelligence they would have controlled the information that Seo Jin-Ae had access to. This way any recent developments would not be able to be leveraged from her mind if they did somehow have access. They would get a history lesson but nothing of recent events.
We can expect some setbacks, but nothing we can't recover from. Our adaptability vastly outpaces them so before they can properly take advantage of anything we'll develop an answer for it.
@@emperorpalpatine2957This is the way. Adaptability and absolute, merciless, unrelenting violence. Over the last year and a half we've been reminding them of the terrible lesson they learned 150 years ago: that they aren't the most dangerous, terrifying nightmare monsters out in the black.
We are.
Did the Titans do ANYTHING yet?
Goidmbies...nooo!
Zombies in Space ffs scraping the Bucket 🥱
This is not Over. Will get worst and worst😅
I'm calling it: FDev is going to make the final titan invulnerable so there's a never-ending source for AX combat inside the bubble.
And I hate it. I don't need an eternal reminder of Azimuth's greatest mistake.
Zombies
so wait we can't go visit the titan wreck for a week, how does this work?
Too hot after the kaboom
@@bonel0rd326 i see, pity i missed the kaboom aswell, why can't we have nice things😆
After Titans blow up, they leave behind a huge caustic cloud that'll fly through your caustic sinks. we need to wait for the caustic levels to lower until we can run salvage missions.
For the next week, the area that used to be the maelstrom will be too corrosive for any human ship to enter and survive.
In one week, it'll be corrosive but survivable with caustic sinks. That's when the best goodies can be salvage from the wreckage, but there'll be Thargoid ships in the area doing the same thing.
Assuming the pattern with the previous Titans holds, in two weeks, the caustic cloud will have completely dissipated and the Thargoids will have taken their ball and gone home. There'll still be stuff to scavenge, but the prime goodies will be much harder to find. Also, there'll be human pirates in the area, so be careful.
Zombies? Or vegetables?
now, they haven't had any signs of nueral implants... yet...
Thargs are organic right? Don't think I heard them scanning for unknown organic material?
If they put half the effort into the actual GAME that they put into these videos.....
I mean, they always knew that the thargoids were eventually going to find her. So they probably didn't let her know anything she shouldn't. We've gotten pretty good at responding against their attacks regardless of her recon on the hivemind. So while it's unfortunate that she got found out I don't think it'll matter in the long run. If the bugs are turning people into drones, it'll just be one more of many grievances we have against the thargoids and will only reinforce our resolve to remove them from our galaxy.
We literally did it first.
Seo is pronounced "suh" like the "sup" minus the p sound at the end
ive always said that the thargoids are planing something. you don't just let 7 of your mother ships ger destroyed without having something else to bring to the fight .human and thargoid on foot combat is coming. and its going to be awesome. good luck all im in Colonia watching the bubble burn .
Oh noooo, alien controlled humans, as opposed to propaganda controlled humans, how will we copeee?!
i want base building and passive re source generation idc how slow it is kinda like NMS engineering mat grind is so toxic i dont even want credits from it just t4/t5 mats x.x
cmon no zombies pls in this game, maybe mutants but not zombies pls, it will kill that project
And we've been rescuing them by the thousand. Zombie, Thargoid controlled loonies. Yeah nothing remotely wrong here.
It's a conspiracy theory! Don't let the goids turn you against your fellow man
Are they seriously doing the one thing we begged them NOT to do? Typical fdup
This should be funny as to how many people believe (again) that we are getting any ground goid content
Remember, this war brought to you by Azimuth Biotech!
Buy our modshards today and join the fight!!!
Important thought. After the fall of the first few Titans, why didn't the Thargoids pull the remaining Titans back and reestablish a tighter overlapping defensive perimeter? Show some tactical awareness? Show a sense of "self preservation"? Make an honest attempt at attacking?
(why is FDEV so bad at telling a story? This "Thargoid War" has been numbingly static. It's quite boring, being the same thing with each Titan... wash, rinse, and repeat with no significant changes. It's really quite disappointing.)
(It started off promising. The Spire sites and that game play loop. Then the clearing of systems, then rescue missions, and supply movements. The Seo Jin-Ae, story is fun and then it stopped as if forgotten {oh look, we just found this hidden under Brabens desk better toss it back at the players}.. and then it stopped. Almost like the devs became bored with their little puppets, left to rot as power play 2.0 has taken over as the newest shiny thing.) I love this game, but the Devs leave A LOT to be desired.
The Thargoids want us to think we are winning. Every Titan destroyed is a boon for humanities morale, but also introduces an unstable element.. captive and potentially compromised humans. We have been going through this war acting like we are winning, when in reality we are sealing our own doom. (But yeah apart from that the war itself has been a bit meh. It's mostly been padding time for updates. But yes if there are thargoid controlled humans as enemies, that would be such a cop out.)
(Needless FDEV bashing Aside) When I looked at the ammonia worlds they're orbiting compared to my own exploration experiences, the ammonia worlds they prefer are pretty uncommon and so they're a precious resource that they don't want to give up easily. Which would explain their unwillingness to redeploy into better positions. But yes, as the conflict turned against them they probably should've chosen a single ammonia world to set up a perimeter around. My guess is that the FTL they have on the Titan puts a lot of stress on it, the things need to vent their heat every other minute after all. So this may also be why they couldn't move them after they were deployed.
However, some have suggested that the thargoids are merely testing our defense with these titans to see how we'd react and the main fleet is still getting prepared for invasion. And in the codex it has been stated that the thargoid queens are cruel and don't show consideration for their drones. So they don't care if millions of them die for the sake of keeping a planet.
@@emperorpalpatine2957 oh... the theory crafting and defense of FDev. Why are the Spire sites NOT on ammonia worlds... if the ammonia is so important to Thargoids? Same could be said for the barnicle sites. Ever wonder that? Please save your nonsense for for your imaginary world bubbling in the ooze that is your brain. FDev can do whatever it wants and explain things in whatever way FDev wants. I'm sure you can agree that the war started well and the first two titans going boom was exciting... But in response you make the story about ammonia worlds and some nonsense about FTL drives to fill in the giant gaps of logic and reason for why an invading force stopped attacking and became static.
Go Shill someplace else, you sycophantic apologist.
