    Emiliy's enthusiasm is contagious and she asks really good questions. And it's nice to see Sylvie working along with all of you. It's just nice to have both men and women working together in a detailing video where everyone is just comfortable around each other and no one needs to prove anything or outshine each other.
    PS: I could never afford an Audi but I'll give Emily a sub to support her channel 👍🏼

    Great video just wanted to note the first thing you do on detailing a car and I’ve been detailing cars for over 10 years PPE, proper protection against the elements when you’re spinning, dust and dirt, your eyes are affected in your eyes are the most critical part of detailing cars, you need to be able to see, and if your eyes are all damage from particles hitting you in the eye can be really a serious problemso instructing other people be sure to let them know PPE personal protection equipment is important thank you

    Great video! I have all DYI products except the towel , that will be next. I just washed my vehicle with DYI waterless wash, I went in my garage a half hour later and it still smells fruity! love it. I've tried a few waterless washes , I will be buying this one again. One more question, is it ok to leave rinseless wash in a sprayer? or IK foamer?

      Yes, just release the pressure when you’re finished using it.

    Fun watch! Once diluted, how long does the rinseless wash last? For example, if I filled a spray bottle from a fresh bucket of rinseless to have on hand for any quick cleans, how long will that last?

    Using iron remover on wheels was new to me, I grew up using those purpose-labeled bottles with dedicated wheel cleaners. That iron remover works so well I wonder if there is still a reason to use the traditional stuff that was more hars on the wheels?

    Thanks for sharing the dilution rates again… I have a feeling the last one (capfull for 4liters) is related to my post in the faceboom group from a day ago 😂. Even if unrelated, thanks for the content

    When mixing Rinseless with water, are you using ordinary tap water or filtered tap water?
    Any benefits using filtered tap water?
    By the way, big thanks for your reply before. I ordered from a reseller in Austria 🇦🇹.
    Cheers 🥂

    Great tutorial, I’m becoming a believer in rinseless car washes. Any issue/benefit in using the Ceramic Gloss on a vehicle that has wax, or polish vs a ceramic coating? Would Quick Beads work the same?

      Yes, using DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss will extend the life of your wax

    Hey guys.... Help me out with a little detail: you guys have always used iron remover along with the towel... But now, you've used the ceramic gloss... Is it really needed as part of the decontamination process? Or is it only to apply extra lubricant? What other products should I use with the towel?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  Рік тому +3

      The Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel can be used with
      DIY Detail Rinseless Wash
      DIY Detail Incredible Suds
      DIY Detail Iron Remover
      DIY Detail Quick Beads
      And
      DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss

    How does this decontamination towel differ from others that came out in the past few years? Namely, the ones by TRC and P&S which both use "clay" to describe them. I spent a lot of money on TRC's clay mitt a couple of years ago and it's awful. Time to get rid of it. I use enough lubrication but it still gets stuck and leaves blue residue behind that I then have to clean up.

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  Рік тому +1

      Our Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel has a more flexible and less agressive decontamination surface. What were you using for lubrication?

    • @ShelterDogs
      @ShelterDogs Рік тому +1

      Thank you. I use rinseless wash, that's exactly how some of the official videos demonstrate. I've never bought a special clay lube formula.

    • @diydetailofficial

    I’ve now seen you decontaminate a car with rinselesswash, iron remover and pr ceramic gloss what is the difference of the two approaches?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  7 місяців тому

      Using DIY Detail Iron Remover is for a deep cleaning. Using DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash or DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss more of a maintenance type service

    So what about cleaning a wheel and then after you have bad squealing from the brakes after? Is there a way to avoid that from happening? and any fix for it?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  Рік тому +1

      Cleaning shouldn’t affect your brakes. There may be some light rust on the rotors that is removed after one revolution of the wheels.

    • @RichardMJr
      @RichardMJr Рік тому

      @@diydetailofficial I asked because I just did a car and after I was done I moved it and it had bad squeal that was not there before. I tried to drive it back and fourth and around the coldesac a few times. But it was still there. It happens every now and then after a thorough wheel cleaning.

    • @JeffSmith-eq3kc
      @JeffSmith-eq3kc Рік тому

      I'd think that's mechanical and not from cleaning.

    Their shipping costs are excessive. $16 product purchase plus $15 shipping+$31.
    Shipping is definitely a profit center for them. Better options as their products are not miracle products for the price.
    No wonder they are targeting the DIY market who is not as cost-conscious as the professional market.

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  Рік тому +3

      Shipping isn’t a profit center for us. When you order more than $100 shipping is included. We also have distribution partners that may be closer to you.
