The brutality, the speed, the cheap and stripped down production, there was nothing like it before those guys. Discharge changed everything, and if they were on this bracket they would be my number one

Picking iggy and the stooges over black flag is crazy to me. And I fucking love the stooges. To me that flag album is the perfect hardcore album, before they slowed it down and spawned sludge metal and grunge. Granted the stooges made the blueprint, but still… It feels weird imo to call damaged overrated when compared to my war; I see them as both 10’s. But ig I’m a huge flag fan and a huge Rollins fan, so naturally I gravitate towards that stuff. Stooges also hella underrated as a punk band
My War is not way better. It's not even close to being as good as Damaged. Side 1 of My War is mediocre punk tracks (with the exception of the title track). Side 2 is good, but not as good as the stuff on Damaged
