How to fix a gutter downspout cap without concrete

- Found this unique option to a cap a clay downspout without the need for concrete.
I bought the cap from Menards, but it's also available on Amazon too. The Fernco model I'm using in this video is made to squeeze inside the clay downspout. Fernco also makes a model that can fit around the outside diameter of pvc pipe downspouts too. Hope this helps you out. Thanks for watching!

How would you adapt a Filter/Screen to minimize Debris in your Drainage System?
I was pretty worried about the concrete cap we had before this fix. It had broken up and pieces started falling in. Yet another reason I wasn't crazy about using concrete again. Luckily those chunks of concrete that fell in never created an issue for us...assuming that's because there's a lot of water that flows through drain tiles during a rain storm and that should flush everything out, including debris from the roof that manages to get down the gutter.
Having trouble finding exact Fernco plug?
Why wouldn't you remove and install downward spouts? I have now and thinking of removing them all because it's sewage cost unless it's hooked up to the city, which I doubt.
So what happens if the clay part is uh.. broken..? the back side of mine is gone and there is a bunch of leaves down in it. I have zero clue how to fix or remove the leaves.

The concrete around the gutter seems like a really bad idea, you don't have easy access in case the drain is clogged and you need to use an auger. This seems a little better if you can just pull it out.
