    Thanks for sharing this! I use a similar training method when teaching in my school of Taichi, to help with developing the body frame that can efficient transmit force, before we can move on to using intra-abdominal pressure for more power. We also have a particular fist-clenching method that sounds like there’s a parallel with yours - contracted core, relaxed peripheral - yes?

    Are your feet flat when you strike the ground? Do your heels touch the ground?

      No, your heels should not touch the ground when you run. Running with your heels hitting the ground first is commonly known as heel striking, and it is generally considered an inefficient running technique that can lead to various issues over time.
