Shes an adult now he could be working on their relationship but its easier for him to not cus he doesnt really care that much, like he could be here proving that hes actually a good dad but hed rather not do that work and let her go on ET slandering him, he needs to take the time to repair his relationship with her

Dennis said in his Hall of Fame speech that he wished he had been a better father to his kids. He never knew his father, so he wasn't aware of what it meant to be a parent, especially a father. He had to fight so many demons in his life, from his upbringing where his sisters would get attention more, working as a janitor at an airport, going to junior college. Despite his HOF accolades, he fought for everything and poured his heart out on the basketball court.
I think it's healthy for Trinity to come out and let her feelings know. They could reconcile if they chose to, and Trinity could still embrace him for bringing her into the world - and finding her path and identity on her own.

He brings nothing, can add zero to her life. Not sure how many kids he has but in real time we’re probably about 10 years away from his kids taking care of him because he’s a complete mess emotionally and psychologically. And I predict a early diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer’s for Dennis because the last 2 interviews I’ve seen of him he had difficulty tracking simple conversation.

You reap what you sow, you want to party and not be a dad fine, but at least make your seed comfortable, give them enough to live well when you're that rich. A good home, good neighborhood, a vehicle, good schools. Now, there's one more person to blame in this and Trinity needs to address that too. How in the name of all that's holy does a millionaire's kid live in an expedition in this country, has her mom heard of child support? I'm sure she has, why didn't she file? Her mom let them down too, because if nothing else with a person like Rodman's wealth they'd be living pretty comfortably if not in the lap of luxury. Maybe the mom was ready to move on but those kids deserved better.

"Psalm 27:10 says, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me".
In this verse, David uses poetic expression to show his confidence in God's deliverance. The tone of the verse is similar to saying "even if".
The message of Psalm 27 is that faith in God will not desert us, no matter what happens. It encourages us to live into God's will for our lives instead of being limited by fear and insecurities."

YOU DO YOU, TRINITY!!! Keep walking and don't look back!!! This is the same non-relationship that I have with my own father!!! My 92 year-old bio dad was mentally, physically and emotionally abusive to me, my mom and my sisters when we were young!!! My parents had separated and my dad brought random women to our house!!! My mother died eight years ago. My sisters and I took care of her!!! My dad showed up, sold our childhood home and left!!! He didn't have the guts to show up at mom's funeral!!!! The deepest lesson I've learned from this is: You can give a man a baby, but you can't make him a FATHER!!!!

Bear in mind they seperated years ago, the last time we spoke it was my birthday and my mum promted him to message because he didnt last year 🙄 our birthdays fall on the same number/date (different months) it shouldnt be THAT hard!!
I blame it on men never being taught responsibility, im African and I can vouch for the fact that a lot of African men were coddled and catered for and brought up to expect a life of never having to do anything beyond working and earning a respectable wage. These men cant even cook or clean for themselves and then they go round getting EVERYONE pregnant and complaining that they have a child (or more) to look after 🙄

No it isn't the same. Im black American. I don't consider myself African American because I've never been to Africa, I digress. My father grew up without his father and he didn't use that as an excuse. He was a great father to me and my brothers. We are human beings. We have a heart and soul. It's a choice to love and care for your children regardless if your parent was absent to you. Furthermore, I personally don't know any of my many Black American friends that are not in their children's lives and that includes me. I still have a great relationship with my step daughter eventhough me and her mother are no longer married. Most of the black fathers that I know and know of are of African decent, some of them are EXCELLENT fathers but that is not the topic that is being discussed.
