Well you have helped me build a friend ship with my bird, after about 2 weeks of doing your tips and it's as if it understood and now follows me everywhere
I totally agree with the diet and the cage size for the bird. Birds will get tired and sick of eating the same food, and they need a big cage to stretch their wings. I only recommend a small cage FOR TAKING YOUR BIRD FOR SMALL TRAVELS OR FOR VET VISITS ONLY.
Wonderful video! I would only add that bird lungs are so delicate that you can’t have Teflon coated items or use scented candles, room sprays, or cleaners.
Fantastic work! Great and informative we're in Australia and love our budgies! Inside our home in winter and out side in summer But always brought in to the house for a cuddle and a fly around!
I have 2 baby budgies around 13 weeks old and they were taught to step up but now even if we spend so much time with them they still step up only if they have to they’re not very friendly and they just want to sit on their cage I can’t even try and touch train them
Hiiiiiiii I'm having the same problem. I have one boy one girl.... When trying to train the boy leaves the cage only when the girl gets on his nerves. He loves my Healthy chop but she won't touch it lol He let me rub his stomach one time... But that is it. Just got them Christmas Eve🐦🥰
My son found a parakeet outside, it was freezing out and he was on the ground shivering and would not fly. He brought the parakeet to me, I use to have a canary but it died. Anyway after I put it in my cage, it finally started to fly and started eating like crazy. It seemed lonely so I bought a second parakeet. They seemed to really like each other. The new bird from the pet store is a baby. The problem is when I let them out of the cage the new one flies into the walls, I’m so afraid it’s going to kill herself. So now I don’t let them out. This happened more than once. Now it bothers me because they don’t get to fly around.
Where is this girls accent from? I see Russian lettering in the back but she doesn't sound Russian and her location is the US. Very confusing. Brilliant information about budgies though, they are fantastic animals.
You should search which fruits you could give the budgie. You know some of the fruits poison them. Dont forget the perches too. You should choose real wood. You can buy it or cut it from bamboo, rose but some of the tree branches are poisones search that one too. Tame them and then give them freedom to fly inside in your room (closed windows) locked door.

How do you keep them warm in winter, I'm getting one or two, my house isn't insulated
@helenellsworth9556 Australia is generally warm, far cry from the northern hemisphere
@@helenellsworth9556 I would not get budgies if you can't ensure you can keep them warm enough
Thank You for such a valuable information about our feather friends ☺️☺️

Hello I’m new subscriber and I love budgie
good information
I have 2 budgies, two weeks ago the male started toe tapping, is that because he's sick?

👋 hi
I just bought a parakeet what kind of foods should I give her. I dont want to kill her
You should give her a food from the store but it Hass to be a good quality and you should feed her a fruit also
@eliaszayed4245 Yes but she should search which fruits she could give the budgie. You know some of the fruits poison them.
