- Thanks to the teams at Maryland Offshore Performance Marine Center in Rockville, Md., and Waves and Wheels in Osage Beach, Mo., a 1987 41-foot Apache Powerboats V-bottom went from an initial concept discussion to easily the coolest and most all-encompassing boat the two companies have collaborated on to date. Check out the extraordinarily overhauled Scalp Hunter in this video shot on Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks and edited and produced by Andy Sievers.

The dude driving knows his shit. Driving an Apache while sporting a DCB shirt. The best of both worlds!!!
Beautiful boat. Love the looks of it. I would have liked to have heard more about the design, engines, drives, performance etc. and less about the paint and stereo. Again awesome looking boat.
That color may be the sexiest combo ive ever seen. My lord man. She is flat out gorgeous. The new big ones are nice and all but there s something absolutely magic about these older Apaches and Cigarettes. And the sound.........WHEW! Well done!!!!!
My personal definition of cool is unique & different, this boat is exactly that!! I would have never thought of these colors but it works, impressive!!
Sick boat well done
Colors are gorgeous
I've got no issues with the paint I think it's gorgeous.
Nice to see another sweet Apache! Nothing like an Apache look!
Spent some time and a boat load of money...really nice job ...kind of dig apaches...motors are not overkill and will last...love that
Beautiful boat! Nice work 🔥💪
** uncountable hours and top notch craftsmanship ! ... simply amazing ! GOD Bless
I'll Never be able to Afford an Apache Powerboat... I'd Pay just to Get to Ride In One.... Hello Fire , I'd just like to see one and see inside. To get To Ride in A Apache Would be a Dream Come True.... Maybe Someday I'll get to See or Take a Ride. 🙏
Beautiful unit
Definitely one of the best looking Apache out there. Masterpiece !
Wow. My jaw dropped on this one. Great work gentleman 🇺🇸
Not my colours....but absolutely stunning work. Def one of the best looking Apache's out there.
I dont know why, but the color dosnt feel Apache , still an amazing boat!! Epic work guys!
The color looks much better on his Nor-Tech 450 Sport, it looks absolutely stunning in person
Sick as fk.... beautiful work....
Well done apache! I echo some other sentiment here that i would have liked some more technical/rigging info. Wonder what the forward access is like (full race?, half cabin, any coolers, toilet, berth? etc.)
Beautiful boat! Hope one day to see it in person, missed it at the street party that year. Has anyone ever thought of running it down the shootout course?
That boat came out of Canada originally it was a pleasure 41 converted to a six pack not to be confused with a race 41 six pack or three pack
Big boat to be crammed in your 2' by 2' spot.... You would think since they aren't going to be racing the boat you would have room down under in front and more open cockpit
True art 🤟 they need to get a hold of RAZZ and do something similar (with the og paint job of course)
I’ve got an old 83 Excalibur 27 flat deck that needs an interior and a paint job. I’d love to have you guys go nuts on it. Saw Andy at Wilson point In md with a 50 cigarette with trip 1075’s 😱
Ran a 41 late 80's. What kind of speed are we talking about?
Gorgeous boat, hope to see it in person some day. Where is/will it be located?
It lives on Lake of the Ozarks. Not sure if the owner has plans to do any poker runs elsewhere with it.
This is a smear on an Apache. Chequebooks don't make you badass.
Biggest issue for me is no windscreen. If you want to keep glasses on your face you almost have to wear a helmet. I would.
I know why it's called a scalp hunter. I think its because the boat goes so fast, you loose part of you scalp in the water. Therefore you go hunting for it.
Beautiful boat. Get that thing out of the lake and into some open water where it belongs.
Boat is fine what about you
No
Ben Kramer does not approve this message.
Love the non PC project name. Sick of the woke crap like the redskins football team having to change names. Keep on!
Great looking boat, but that gauge layout is awful.
The attention to details and craftsmanship is obvious but I’m sorry, brown interiors on a boat were heinous in the early 80s and even uglier today. The heritage and mojo of Apache was lost in the paint scheme and brown interior.
When you buy your own Apache you can call the shots.
It' owned by a guy out of Kansas City. It's down at The Lake of the Ozarks.
