Just curious - do you get charged Duty/Taxes with the return shipping from PSA when it’s clearing customs? I never used to, but my last two submissions with PSA, FedEx charged me a significant bill from CBSA for taxes. Both submissions were over 100 cards. It certainly adds to the overall grading cost. Most people I know that submit regularly to PSA don’t usually get dinged with this.
Thanks for watching! No I have not been charged. However, one of my first subs my item got pulled by CBSA and I had to pick it up in ther office. While I was there collecting the item I spoke to an agent that was familiar w collecting, and what PSA did, and said we should be getting charged PSA on grading fees. Card price doesn't mater... But GST on the grading itself. He didn't charge me and I haven't had any shipments stopped. But it doesn't surprise me.
@@lapp3r30shockeycardflips Yeah, I tried to dispute it, but CBSA replied with the fact that grading cards is a service, therefore GST should be charged on the total amount of the grading invoice. I haven’t sent a submission in since. It might actually be cheaper to just go through PSA Canada at this point, since I don’t believe they’re getting charged the GST.
