Im on my first year of University, and i gotta say that despite the never ending tsunami of homework and also the fact that the university is a massive maze where i am running for my life at trying to find my classroom with sweat all over my body, ive never been relieved at the fact that there are no insane students that are ruining the lives of anybody in the classroom.
The fact this is literally 100% true is amazing, glad all of our school experiences are the same hellish pain

I'm 40 and this brought back a lot of nostalgia. I def laid my fit out and slept right next to it. I mean when i got new kicks I would sleep with them the first night. Total madness in retrospect. But yes - that first day is sooooo key on so many levels. You narrated this perfectly.

I've been out of school for a while, but yep, I absolutely relate. Before the first day, I'm just hoping I get classes with some cool people from previous classes or people I've met through certain students in those previous classes. I either had only one class with a person I was hella cool with, or it's just a whole new set of people, and I end up getting classes with the mfs I try hard to avoid.
It's the same in college. I'll probably get a class with that one student I previously had a class with, but the ones I really was cool with just don't meet not one bit.

I joined a history degree in a university far from home, which means I have my own student apartment and live very close to uni.
