I hate to ask, but I couldn't find a proper answer online and your video seems both close enough and high in quality. Is there a reliable way to use dithering in Sketchbook? I like making my art either monochrome or similar to comicbooks, and dithering would go a long way toward that.
@@turbodougz1983here is what I did. Step 1 create your shape. Step 2 fill it with a color. Step 3 lock the image. Step 4 use predictive stroke to create a line with the next color you want to blend and repet with as many sections as you'd like. Step 6 select the smudge round brush and lower the intensity and size. Step 7 start smudging the colors together. I hope this helps !!
@@param888 There’s this little lock icon on every layer. Just lock that, it act as an alpha lock (masking). But do it after filling your shape with color.
@@tr0ff13s_yt yes, it’s useful for shadowing too. You can still check this video here, helpful for shadows- ua-cam.com/video/Q-6B6MAWZNY/v-deo.htmlsi=vR3QcXllnk-p2v50
Hey, I use to be a traditional artist but now I’m starting to want to do digital art fully. And I wanna ask.. how did you keep the circle still perfect when you were coloring on it. I’m super new so is this like a layering thing or?
Use the shape tool to create a circle. Once you have the circle outline, fill in color with a brush manually (here you'll have to make sure that you color inside the circle). Once the circle is colored, lock the layer. And now when you'll color over the circle, it won't spill out the shape. I hope this helps :)
@@thefilthyegg397another trick is that predictive stroke will help u create lines, by just using this tool ull be able to sketch the circle and get it in a proper shape. Im bad at explaining but i hope u got it

On left hand side only, on the brush tool bar. Or you can go to the brush settings and change the opacity there.

Thank you so much 💗💖
Which brush did you use to colour the stuff
I'm not sure of what they used but I usually use tattoo inker or any inking brush. Fountain pen also works
thanks
Does the brush that you color with important or does it not matter after using a blending blush on it
You can use any brush
