I LOVE your videos! You are one of the most creative UA-camrs I have seen and I'm always amazed at your ability to make original and unique creations. Lately I haven't been seeing as many videos as you normally do. You may just be taking a much needed break and I hope everything is okay. You are appreciated!

Is there a way to clean the brush of UV resin, or is that paintbrush just then thrown away? I love this glazing technique, but it seems wasteful if the brushes are just thrown away :/

Clean the brush with isopropyl alcohol and it’s good to go. Just do not cure the brush or it’ll be toast

I think the tool she is using has a silicone head. There are kits you can buy specifically for working with resin and they include silicone tools that are used like brushes. I hope this helps.

You can clean the brush with acetone or nail polish remover. After that I also use alcohol to remove any excess of acetone so it doesn’t interfere with the resin.
When using the brush with UV resin you need to keep it away from the UV light when curing the pieces.
When I’m using the brush more frequently, I just clean it with a paper towel and store it on a plastic bag away from the light and it’s good to go. :)
If we take good care of ur brushes they’ll last for a long time.

@@nibordiabla7493that definitely looks like a regular paintbrush to me. Yes they do have silicone tools. I’ve found that using rubbing alcohol usually cleans resin off the brush. Just make sure you do it immediately after using so it can’t cure. Even the UV resin can cure if there’s sunlight getting into the area you’re working in.

@@MakeupMobster I looked at it again, and yeah you are right it is definitely a brush. Sandrarts gave the original commenter the same advice about cleaning brushes. Thanks!😁

This is such a cute idea. Does the resin crack at all if it bends or do you coat it enough to make it super rigid?

I have been trying this and a thin coat remains flexible.
