I've seen countless crafters use that shape of tray mould and not a single one has used it to make a box. Brilliant and also super adorable!

This mold wasn’t designed to make a box, it’s a dish mold, but I really like the shape of it for a box and the size is great as well:D

what is the finished texture like with the powder resin? does it still feel like a finished epoxy resin? it almost looks like it would be plaster of Paris like?

It doesn’t feel like epoxy resin.
It looks more like plaster but with a smoother surface, without powder residues.
It also feels more resistant than plaster.
And cures much faster 😀
