I've loved infinix ever since i got my infinix hot 4 lite 8 years ago. Still functional, but Whatsapp stopped updating 5 months ago and can't download some apps ( of course it's an android 6), so YES, infinix phones are durable.

You can set it from the customisation settings on the phone. I only set the icons to match the wallpaper. As for the Wallpaper, try Zedge app

I honestly love Infinix and Tecno, they make the best budget phones. However, the lack of an ultrawide camera is the main thing stopping me from buying a new one. If Xiaomi can include ultrawide cameras on their budget phones, I’m sure Infinix and Tecno can do the same. Considering that infinix and tecno already have a trade off of having a short OS support, adding an ultrawide camera would be a fair.

they need to arrest whoever is signing off the designs at infinix and tecno. their design department would cook with design only for the specs to be that of a -budget or mid-range phone. this design is worthy of being a note series.

How camera
OS is why I do not take any of these phones(itel, tecno, infinix) serious. The specs can be quite solid. But, why don't they go with a clean/minimal android skin? Something like Moto OS, Nothing OS, etc.
You can always install a custom rom 😊

@@redemptionmusic7176 These phones are budget to mid-range phones at best. The target audience is not one that may have such knowledge (of rooting phones/installing custom rom). Plus, the onus is on the manufacturer to ensure that the user has a good ux based on the software. You can cut corners on hardware, and software will do a good carry job. That is why I prefer Samsung phones. For their budget devices, software does a good carry job. I still have a Samsung A01 that I have been using for nearly 4 years. This is a budget phone for all intent and purposes, software is the reason it has lasted 4 years after buying it.
@@redemptionmusic7176 Yeah. But I assume it should be cheaper to use an OS very similar to pure android for many of these budget devices. The company can figure out which AI features they want to add (since AI is the new craze). Nokia has been doing it.

I remember around 2014, i used to buy flagship phones around #130k or less
But today, flagships are priced in millions

My battery drains a bit fast but is manageable if I put it on battery saver. It gets warm when I start browsing.... I had high expectations that's why I didn't buy the itel s25 ultra. Am not so pleased, front camera hmm,

This is a Sleek phone ngl,But the Note 40 pro seems more of a steal than the 50 pro+

IP54 rating means it's somewhat water-resistant! Great for outdoor use with the Helio G100 inside.

Yet you did not dispute it by mentioning another. Don't disagree for the sake of disagreeing, it only shows you have an agenda. I didn't even say it as an absolute. I left room for the possibility there could be slimmer and used the word "Probably".

I just wanted to point out how ridiculous it seems for us to try to think that infinix will produce the world's slimmest curved display and not brag about it like it's tech they basically invented. And if you look at the whole picture in a broad sense, there's Not really something special infinix innovates that another brand did not already do or do better.
I'm not stating the specifics, because if what they innovate is actually worth the hype, it'll get to the world stage, everyone will know about it, for example if they invent battery tech that outlasts even the best, everyone would be talking about it. That's just by the way.
Bottom Line:
I'm saying it's pretty bold saying Infinix "Probably" has the slimmest phone with a curved display, pretty bold.

My bro burst into laughter after seeing the phone, I didn't need a review after that. I also understand you need to protect your brand by tucking away some of the harsh commentary, I understand.
It just feels like nobody is drawing the line on what's actually good and what's downright mediocre.
@@kingdavidoyedemi9917 lol there's an agenda and it's obvious. I don't care for Infinix like that but I can tell you for a fact they have a couple of technologies that can be tagged innovative. You just lack the information does not mean it does not exist. It's not even up to a year they got awarded for their color shifting technology they displayed at CES and I experienced firsthand at MWC, that and Air Charging. A year or two ago, they had the fastest charging phone. That has since been overtaken by realme, but they did it.
Your problem is not that my review is deceptive. It's that Infinix is a brand you have a certain perception about and the fact that I said the slightest postive thing about them in my review made you spring to attack.
Yes I saw Cypher's video on the itel flip. If you buy a flip phone for 50K it will definitely surprise you when you open it up.
When you watch my reviews, remove whatever perception you have about the brand and watch it for the information I have to share. Maybe then you will see the positives and negatives I rightly point out.
In all you failed to see my criticisms of the bloated software or their lack of software support, or the inconsistency in the camera department. You picked the positives and decided to attack me for reasons best known only to you.

I dropped mine on concrete after 3 days of getting it and the screen protector came off, but I put It back, it was fine 😂

This is what would've tried to fight with the Redmi note 10 pro of then, and it still falls short.
Even Redmi does not have a phone under 300K that "fights" the Note 10 Pro of then. Maybe you just have a problem with me or you lack connection to reality. Surf the internet a little and maybe, just maybe you will realise that these specs are common with phones in this price range and higher. Heck even the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G costs about 400K with the Helio G99. You should watch my reviews without an agenda, then maybe you will see the honesty in them.
The fact that it has Pro+ in the name does not mean you can expect it to give you the specs of a 500K phone when it's price under 300K. This is not fantasy land.
I'm hopeful you will prove me wrong and mention any phone available in Nigeria that is not used from a few years ago, that offers way better specifications or build for the price. I guarantee you every phone you will find either offer similar specifications or might offer 5G but will be lacking in other areas. Don't just come to comments section to attack a review without first gathering the right information.
