Civil society groups wrote an open letter to the women who were allegedly assaulted and filmed by Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna. They told the women that dignity is every woman’s birthright, and urged society to remember that Prajwal Revanna comes from a very powerful family and support the women.

Government of Karnataka should help these women .These women need moral and emotional support. They also need medical help which helps these women to come from the dark phase of their life mentally. I think we need rehab centers where people can heal themselves
I was wondering why no single person was saying this from day one. Am happy that this has been openly said at least now.
As responsible citizens, we all should support every single victim to come forward and raise their voice against the criminals.
To all women, when you report crimes which happen to yourselves you will not only be getting justice but also empowering others to come forward. Alongside saving the future generation from getting exploited by such criminals.

I am from his own constituency yes he is a psychopath but that doesn't mean those womans are all innocents because most of them are govt officials and his own party workers one of the woman in the video just did house warming ceremony 6 months back and that house nearly cost more than 3crore, if we see the video it clearly shows that its a mutual act. And also their are woman police officer( circle inspector) so its not a rape.

All victim women should come out boldly to fight for justice. All women of Hassan should strongly support victims to achieve justice in this scandal.
It is NOT easy. If the women who got assaulted is already married and have kids, how can such women can go and lodge a complaint. That will have an impact on her own family and damages her family, creates issues with her husband and rest of the family. Can society accept. Can society support with broad mindset. It is hard for anyone to take it.

The SIT does not appear to be doing much to instill fear into the minds of the perpetrators. Where is if any a report or audio/video of custodial interrogation using third degree methods if required. The moot point is whether the police are going too soft on the accused.

They're not coming out because of public shame from people like you think it was consensual. If it was consensual the video wouldn't have shot. The videos by Prajwal himself so that he could blackmail those innocent women more. Those came out were kidnapped by JDS goons. This is simple logic. 2800 is the number of videos. The victims were around 200 to 400.

Why do you just because they're govt officers they are very influential? Govt officers specifically women officers are subject to sexual harrasment in offices. Govt officers are not as powerful as politicians especially Deve Gowda family.
They are silent because of fear of society for being slut shamed and death threats from his family. The women who have complaint say they are afraid to file complaint and they're ostrasized from the society.
I read about a sweeper and her daughter who was forced by Prajwal to strip on video call. Her family blames her and her daughter.
Prajwal's whole family has influence in Hasaan and they're ruling there as a mafia family. His family kidnapped the complainant. I don't think this is fake. He raped them by capturing videos and photos only to further harass them. If it was consensual the videos wouldn't have been captured.

He's from JDS lol. JDS was an ally of Congress before they joined NDA last year. The videos are atleast 5 years older, so congress was supporting Prajwal in campaigns. Also stop saying only BJP protects rapists. Even feminist AITC ( Trinamool) defends rapists now and has done before. Sandeshkhali an example.
