    My top speed video :

  • @tanmoysarkar7333

I like the fact that unlike some other people, you are actually being honest and talking about what actually matters, without being unnecessarily overexcited about it. Really liked this. One question I have is, can this be an upgrade over the gen 2?

  • @aarsh1902

Gen 1 d390 are still the benchmark. They're mad tbh and if you don't respect her she will make you pay for it. Hardly any gen 1 duke are spotted on road these days. A duke is a duke is a duke it cannot be a civilized machine. Gen 1 was never perfect but the personality it had was something different. The moment i swing the throttle it neve fails me to have a wide grin under my helmet, occasionally it do scares me with some powerslides and powerwheelie. Tbh, the gen 2 never impressed me, and seems like we've the arsenal for some upgrade in the form of these suspension, brakes and lighter wheels. I hope they're upgradable on the gen 1. 😈

  • @JH09SUMIT

If I were to buy the new 390, I'd convince the showroom to put the black wheels from the duke 250 on my 390 😭😂

  • @satishjoseph

@strell you forgot about the A2 license cap of 47bhp. That's probably the reason KTM didn't tune it to do any better in terms of power output.

  • @pareshdalbe

waiting for RC & i m gonna buy tht.

That design didn't grew on us at all

Hey Strell, I'm in a dilemma between the new generation Duke 390 and the Ninja 300. Considering the need for a comfortable ride on Indian roads and concerns about engine smoothness, vibrations, and heating, do you think the Ninja 300 is a better choice? I've ridden the second-generation Duke 390 for 3 years and I'm concerned that the Duke's power output might be excessive for day-to-day commuting. I'd love to hear your insights on this!

Rest assured there will be many such "small" issues its owners will keep on discovering. Owning KTM 390 is a journey of discovery, where you discover levels of your tolerance and limits of your bank balance.

  • @amlanbeherabulabuli

The new 399cc engine is definitely under tuned in the current setup. But I'm looking forward to the upcoming healthy competition in this segment with the twin cylinders coming in from yamaha and aprillia. 300-400cc segment is the new hot region. Let's see who's winning hearts and who's winning sales volume

  • @abirpramanik

if ktm make a budget 390 like adventures x No need quick shifter, cornering abs , rear abs off sensor , traction control, not even that fancy tft screen.. Just pure raw ktm with dual channel abs .. under 3.2l onroad i definitely gonna buy that monster

  • @BurbujaPsicopata

Thank you for making the video in English, I’m from Mexico 🇲🇽, we haven’t gotten this bike yet so there isn’t almost any videos in Spanish, most of them are in Hindi, at least with your clip I can finally see it and understand what you’re saying (:

  • @aswin5792

Spoken like a true enthusiast rather than just an automotive "journalist".

  • @SayanSarkar1

I come from watching SCHAAF videos and genuinely love it. Matches my riding style. I came across your videos some couple of months ago. Did not like it in the first go, but honestly now LOVE YOUR WORK! Keep it up, keep up your honesty, keep up the way you ride. And please a “pure sound” of every bike you review should be made a MUST! Kudos! cheeers!

  • @BrattyBiker

The biggest thing I can see on paper is that from Gen1 390 weighing 140KG, this one weighs 168KG...That's a whopping 28KG of extra weight that it has to lug around. Great for highways but slightly affects the scariness factor of the 390. Love how the new 390 looks, superb design. That pillion seat is possibly the only usable one in the entire segment.

  • @Radzzboii

I particularly feel that the tank peice is a bit ugly. I think an RC with this design and better looking wheels will be awesome

  • @harishkarthic1977

Thanks for your review it really helps. Have a question, can this bike be used for touring purposes? say 300 + km ride in a day with both highway rides and say not so good road? I had RE 500 cc sold that 4 years back and was out of touring and want to start again. Your suggestion would help me. Thank you.

  • @sauravsharma6438

hey @iamstrell just confuse between full fairing bike tvs rr 310 vs duke 390 3rd gen, can you suggest which one need to pick, i have a single requirement that i need to ride with pillion.

  • @PramriDesigns

I really love the way you review the bike.. I need your help in finding which bike is better new Duke 390 2024 model or CB300r ? which one would you recommend ? need your opinion. Budget is not the concern so please suggest which one to buy..

  • @dipangshudas

Since the bike doesn't have a wind screen, while riding on the highway did you feel any wind blast, say at 80-100kmph? Also, since it's a very lightweight machine, did you have any issues with cross wind while riding it on Highway? Just trying to understand the highway capability of the bike.
