What genius built the McMansions on the dune Line. The last time I saw that was Jax Beach Fl and then they had to put up a granite sea wall. But the Ocean always gets what it wants and the sea wall is gone and so is the boardwalk. This reminds of me of the Miss River Valley in the 90s. They bought all those towns out that had been in the bottom lands and that was the end of the problems. Wake up your Fed reps and get a plan going.

Our new weather patterns are definately creating the need for different home construction and better sea walls. The price to live and maintain a home ocean front is going up. Thanks for the comment.

@@TheWhale45 I wonder how many years ago it started becoming obvious that mother nature wants to cut through where my old house is across from the sewer pump station? My guess it was at least 25 years ago. It is very obvious today to anyone familiar with the area. Still, if you fortify the seawall and put the house up on pilings, watching the waves smash into the sea walls is kind of exciting to watch. The problem is that you have to deal with all the erosion regardless every spring without exception. You can't concrete your entire lot because you have to leave some impervious surface. Yet, prices still keep going up. It's kind of amusing... sort of like watching the waves smash against the sea walls.
