I love this story. And that he said when he was at Kentucky he was in his room and had to figure it out. Parents have to support their kids and raise them in such a way that when they have to figure some things out on their own they can because that’s the only way they build character and stick with it.

What I love ❤️ most is what he said about the kids. Even more importantly what he does for the kids. Giving back is the most important thing you can do, especially when you come from where he comes from. Your life does matter.
Wow this is a very powerful testimony to life that has touched my heart because it’s our story as a mom, what we go through and struggle with. I felt this! It moved me, encouraged me to not give up! My living will not be in vain!
I'm from Durham North Carolina and I had never heard of Pinetown North Carolina where Bam is from. When you drive up north towards Elizabeth City you do come across this long area of very impoverished towns. There's not really a sizable city anywhere near Pinetown and I know that area is pretty difficult and poor and unlike a lot of situations it's rural poor and so it's a whole different kind of poor from being poor in a city where there's not a lot of help that you can get when you live in these little towns that have no budget to provide an umbrella for their poor citizens. I'm glad he made it.
@@MhammadelAmin Little Washington is actually kind of pretty. I just googled where he was from and it told me Pinetown but that's pretty close. He might have lived somewhere in between and both cities could claim him. City is definitely a bit of a misnomer.
