- Special Panel during The Wire two-day conference: Actors and Activism, Saturday April 9th 2016. The Wire leads Jamie Hector (Marlo Stanfield), Felicia Pearson (Snoop), Wendell Pierce (Bunk Moreland), and Sonja Sohn (Kima Greggs) speak on their community activism. Presented by the Columbia University Heyman Center for the Humanities.
By far one of the most thought-provoking, complex and well written series to ever be created. This is an exceptional conversation by five impressive human beings.
Host hair be like, "You only want it to be one way...But it's the other way"

You aint lyin'! Jesus Christ, what the fuck that?!
Exceptional Stuff! Wendell Pierce is a Genius. With out a doubt the best TV show in the history of television... The Wire!
Idk about without a doubt, but yes this is in my top 10 shows of all time.
@@AV-wn7xz lmao you don't know TV. No offense
Facts #1 show ever
@@AV-wn7xz there’s always someone who comes and says it ain’t the number one but they almost have not watch the whole thing and if they specify what they think is the number It’s hardly anything I consider even in the ballpark but hey different strokes.
Excellent panel! Thank you.
I just watched the wire for the first time a couple months ago. This panel was amazing! 💜
the wire came out when i was in elementary school and of course i didn’t understand it that much but i recently watched it over and it’s definitely to this day one of the best shows to air. it’s still relevant to society today and i feel like it didn’t get the recognition and comprehension it should have back then. But this sit down was very profound and authentic and even this deserves more recognition. Tilt my hat to all of these people
19:55
“People starting to check out the show.”
“Cuz me and Jamie came.”
Thank you
Great video
Awesome I love this
"You only want it to be one way...But it's the other way"
So applicable to so many situations… so harrowing of a scene in the show,

Bruh looking mad crazy with that hair style. Let it go!!!
This is what you got from the video? Anybody can keep their hair however they like. You may or may not be struck with hair loss, but you will forever be a loser and a bully for focusing on that when there are so many more important issues.
These ideas are true and need to be carried out
Marlo is a very eerie character, that shit stuck with him outside of the wire.
yeah you right but what he said from 24:10 made him seem to be a different person outside of the wire!
He's great on Bosch.
He’s a great actor, Marlo feels all too real but he is not Marlo, clearly
why is the audio on these kind of interview panels always so awful? the levels are all over the place.
It's being filmed from the audience it just zooms in and out
good lord.. them bald dreads.. come on brutha
Some people lose hair so what? Don’t need to be mean
Poor Snoop, bless her heart
Just remember, someone died by her hands. She may have become a better person, but the victim's family suffers when they see her face.
@@PauIieWalnuts are you white ?
@@PauIieWalnuts who cares nigga
His locs went to war on a Lie 🤣🤣
Love and respect for Marlo i really disliked his character but he is a very thoughtful person!
👀........👂👂
Wendell Pierce understands the problem with capitalism but he thinks it's an accident or a mistake, when it's a completely logical consequence of how the capitalist system is built up and what incentives it gives to people; that's annoying. He's so close ^^'
The sound is terrible.
Wtf is up with that professor's hair? Damn dude. If you're balding, maybe it's time to quit rocking the dreads. Nothing against the guy. But I spent about 2 minutes figuring out what was wrong with his head.
Maybe learn to focus on more important matters rather than bullying people for their hair loss. And you may understand when you get older. Whatever his reasons I don’t know. But as someone who has lost their hair to cancer, I think you’re a fucking bully
