It’s actually not since the QAR was built from the old Pearl full scale filming model. It was repainted, given a completely different stern and had some other minor details changed. Once you know it’s pretty easy to see they look mostly the same. That would also make their hulls the same size
This is a sad set, beautiful from far, but when you get close there's like nothing in it. No details in the cabin, nothing at the bottom of the ship. Nice from the exterior, nothing inside.
@@gbrow1604 There's a table and a candle...adding just a few things wouldn't have cost 200$ it was 120$? You can add a few 2 piece wide plate to add a bridge and maybe a door and a chair in the cabin, they put one on the black pearl so it's not like they couldn't figure it out. This is the ultimate pirate of the Caribbean ship, that same year lego came out with a 140$ Millenum falcon for 160 more pieces. That wouldn't have been a bad price range and would've allowed them to make it look more complete.

How long does each video take to make on average? It hurts my brain how they morph onto the screen so smoothly, it leaves me second guessing myself on whethere the piece had been there the whole time or whether it had just appeared whithout me noticing lol :)

Sadly Lego doesn`t seem to be interested in doing something like that, even if it would surely be a huge success. A lot of People, including me, still really want a Flying Dutchman.
