Thanks man! I've been really enjoying your videos. Such great production. I might have to hit you up for advice on the g-code for the remote camera switch
@@Timelessplays I setup the lights and did the print timelapse. Then once it was finished I tried to to move anything, laid my black mousepad over the build plate of my printer and tried to put the empty drawer exactly where the part had just printed and filmed it for a minute. It didn't exactly go to plan by I kinda managed to make it work in the edit.
Wow, you even did the SYJ (Scott Yu-Jan) mouth made sound effects, just with less audio effects on his/your voice recordings - which makrs your video a heartfelt dedication to SYJ videos, very kind of you. Your timelapes and other ideas were very creative and well done. Thanks!
I have genuinely no idea how he did it, amazing! Because printing multiple iterations for every height, or taking it of making a picture and puitting it on the exact same spot for the printer would be tedious as hell
It's great to see these chain reactions of positive influence! I'm sure you'll make other people want to get into 3d printing and learn by doing it themselves. You've got a new subscriber!
Another awesome video, Scott! Hit close to home too, I should take some inspiration from you and everyone else and sort my stuff out. The animations were really great too! ("You need to get a Bambu Lab Printer.") Cheers!

Great video mate. Im new to 3d printing and wanted to do something similar and was wondering how you create the mould for the scissors. Did you use some sort of phone scanning app?
THIS IS FANTASTIC!! as a design student in high school in my 2nd year I've been thinking of buying a 3D printer as I've worked with them and fusion 360, perhaps this was the boost I needed??
Iteration is key, and also something I call destructive prototyping (not sure if there is a term for it) If I make a part that doesn't fit I end up taking some hand tools and cutting it, melting, drilling till it it achieves the the intended purpose and then I go and clean up the model based on the modifications I did in the real world
@@AttemptedMaker I had the same reaction when I discovered that. Even though my gf said I was just messy and the fairy was her tidying behind me. Obviously the fairy is real 😁
Very intresting video and when you said cool time-lapse, you meant it. I’m actually curious how did it for fun. Did you leave the print on the bed and place drawer around the print instead of the print inside of the drawer? I’m just trying to figure out how you got the whole print in drawer while it was “printing”. Very cool edit my man! Would love to hear how you did it if you have the chance 😊

They look a lot like hairdressing scissors But that's fine. Hairdressing scissors are usually pretty sharp and the most important thing is that they work for you! Pretty sure they're hairdressing scissors though lol
that was such a joy to watch. thank you so much for the kind words 🥹
the edit at 1:03 was amazing lol great job, liked and subscribed!
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😀Thanks for the encouragement Scott!

Looking forward to more

Great organisation!!
Thanks mate! I was trying to throw a few homages in there.
The Cool Timelapse was very cool! Nicely done

I loved this video, you made Scott’s videos feel actually achievable (I’ve always admired them)! More pls!
Thanks Mate! There's more coming... Eventually 😅
This is awesome!
Thanks Man!!
I would highly recommend getting a bambu a1 printer. The jump in quality and reliability over the Ender is soooo well worth the extra cost.
They are on sale right now and I'm about to get one this weekend to start my 3D journey. Gah...wish me luck!

💙 Too Nice
This is a great video love to see more people buying 3d printers
Thanks Mate!
GREAT editing!
Thanks!
Pretty cool!
You need a Bambulab 3D printer !
Wait a minute.. my name ISN'T Scott... now I also have to get a 3D printer!
Yesss! Do it!
Sweet video

no, Thank You :)

Did you use some sort of phone scanning app?
No Scanning app needed, just your phone camera and a ruler. I've added some links to helpful video guides in the Description. Thanks!
Very entertaining bro 😂 i rellay enjoyed this one. Subbed🤝🏽

@@AttemptedMaker oh wow tu sm, since then i just finished my design product worth 50% of my grade!

Destructive Prototyping! If it wasn't a term before, it is now. That helpful advice. Thanks
wait this guy is not famous? he has the formula
He does have the formula, but he can't find it cos his place is such a mess.
A parody of original Scott but much more authentic 🎉
ngl, that timelapse was sexy.
Now I need to organize my drawers,,,
Haha, thanks mate
You forgot to color grade. I keep checking if I am watching in DaVinci Resolve, lol.
Didn't forget.... Just still figuring that shit out.
Hahaha you fool! @ScottYuJan does what I do: give offerings 🍫 🪙 every morning to the Mess Fairy 🧚🏻♀️ so she doesn't mess up his drawers 😁

Nice. I wanna do this so bad to all stuff but looks to long to do.
It does man. But it's worth it
What did you do with all the other stuff that was in your big drawer?
I put it somewhere else. I don't remember where and now I can't find it.
@@AttemptedMaker We like your humour. It's very funny!
Great video! What camera do you use?
Thanks, I use a ZV-E10 but my lights have died, so the lighting in this is awful.
You need a Bambu!
Tip #1: Buy a Bambu. Your time-management will thank you for it ...

That was an old go pro strapped to my chest with a belt 😅

They do look like small hair dressing scissors. They probably were used on the dog in a past life.
And REMEMBER You DONT need to learn 3d modeling to print things THERES ALWAYS things for free. :D
Yes! There are really a lot of very good websites. By the way, what are your favorite 3D printing websites?
