I just did a "Thank You Lord" prayer for as much as I could think of. Thank you Kim!! For reminding me to just say a simple "thank you" to The Lord. I used to go too much into explanations and other things. "Thank you Lord" is all it takes. My new found morning prayer to start my day and bedtime prayer as well!! Awesome.

Wow! Kim hit the nail on the head when she said she had called on The Lord and still faced situations. THAT is our reality. Many in the the church (who are still trying to learn and grow) get "mad" at Christians who speak the TRUTH about their struggles. God loves us and protects us and sometimes He loves us "through" problems rather than yank us out of them so that we can actually "learn" something from those experiences. That's why we are here on this earth rather than in heaven-to learn and grow. Growth requires making room for the new that's coming and sometimes it's painful. Like the noise and ruckus that goes into demolishing an old outdated building lacking in proper piping and wiring for today's tech world in order to build a shiny new modern building with proper and fitting electrical wiring, piping, sufficient insulation. As humans we must undergo change and it can be painful to let go of the past and what we thought was our best and let God give us better. Let go and let GOD.
I think Kim Burrell is such a beautiful person. Her lady bug eyes. I always remember when she sang at Nene's wedding which was a really touching performance. Much love Mrs. Burrell.

I hate that the world - ONCE AGAIN - is at odds over a piece of information that could've easily been taken out of context. Our enemy is not each other; but you can believe that the enemy is satisfied that so many are at odds over something that's NOT NEW if you've been to anybody's church!! Some people still have to grow in LOVE and GRACE!! We all do!!

All you've said is true. Times were MUCH different 200 years ago. No doubt about it. But we're not talking about a gender equality issue or a race issue; we are talking about the laws as written in the old testament. Per the letter of the law, homosexuals would have been publicly ostracized; embarrassed. Some would've even been stoned. Because that lifestyle was called an abomination. That was the law. However, as a believer, I recognize we now are no longer under the law; but we are under Grace. CHRIST died for our sin - so whatever sin we ascribe to (and we all sin and come short); CHRIST died for that!!
I believe the spreading of this 2 minute segment of Pastor Kim's sermon was a strategic plot of the enemy to sow discord and chaos; to make us miss something much more important going on in our world. The enemy was successful in that. I also believe had we seen the message in its entirety, we all may have a very different view of what Pastor Kim was trying to convey to her flock. As their pastor, she did what she saw fit for whatever situation was happening in HER congregation!! We can all agree or disagree on her method; but that's not our place. She's the sent woman in that house! Even in this messy snippet; this piece of a message was not one of hate or one to discriminate against ALL homosexuals. No sir!! I don't believe that and neither should you!! I need us to look deeper and be much more discerning than what we are! We don't know what the context of her message was! We are all drawing our own conclusions and we all very well could be wrong! Because to understand the truth of the matter we'd need all the facts (all the message) and that's what we don't have. So, until then, as a body of believers now living under the Grace and Truth of God's word; we are OBLIGATED to pray for Pastor Kim Burrell. We are to cover her in LOVE. Whether we think she deserves it or not - that is SO not the point. We've all done things that probably didn't deserve love or grace; but GOD did it anyway!! No one can cast stones!!
At the end of the day, we are obligated by GOD to show her what HE would show (and IS showing) her. When we get THAT part right, we all will be better able to show people CHRIST. That's the mission. That's the focus. HE is the focus.

I met with God the Holy Ghost and fire and need more of him. The word of God is life by there fruits you shell know them. All these christian woman dress up like Hollywood religion painted hair, make up, some of them wear tight dresses and call themselves christian. It a devil modern religion that not God trust me. This is what happens when people don't study the word, prayer, and get filled with the Holy Ghost. It's sick God is gonna make them pay they are living a lie. It's fame, fans and money. Once again God is Holy and he's a life clean seperated from the world. There are real Holy Ghost filled christian iam one of them. I wouldn't lie to you I wish people could get in the word of God and learn how to act, walk, talk, and dress.

If you are so born again, and so Pentecostal (spell check that next time😊); then you should know that the spirit of the LIVING GOD dwells in whoever has received HIM - even if their geographical location is in Hollywood!! IF you knew that, you wouldn't allow something as trivial as aesthetics (makeup, hair, clothes) cause you to make a judgment over anyone. I'm sure people have done that to you... You wouldn't appreciate it; so a good rule of thumb is not to do that to others.
At the end of the day.... Since you are so "filled"; then you're obligated to pray for Pastor Kim Burrell!! The strong are to bear the infirmities of the weak, right?? So be about your FATHER'S business and do what you're called to do in times like these. You can't win souls for CHRIST by being so caught up in the outer appearance that you miss what matters to GOD the most.... The HEART!!

It was so refreshing to hear Kim sing a true praise to God on Steve Harvey's show and not try to be so bluesy and contemporary. Yes her song had a good beat and tune to it, but it still was something that sounded like I was in church. So many other singers try not to sound like they are truly giving God the praise. This album is "fatal", "epidemic" ku-raazy for real. She is truly amaze-balls as my brother below me mentioned. I've had this album on replay since I received a tweet from the Kim Burrell site. Even some songs are old but re-released and rearranged but only 2 songs if I'm not mistaken. And even those are equally outstanding; she doesn't recycle or do mediocre. If you sing she's astounding and if you don't sing she's ASTOUNDING! And points all around for her sincere words regarding her views on the church pleading that we ALL be less religious and be MORE KINGDOM. AWESOME ministry. :-) The new CD is banging. Now, I love and respect Kim Burrell; enjoy her music tremendously. The only comment I want to make is she sho told the truth, but I hope that people don't get the message that the church is so messed up that people will say, well, shoot, if they're that messed up, maybe we don't want to go. That said, I still agree with what Kim was saying; we do have to make sure that, one - we aren't living opposite of what we say and 2 -that we stay loving to those who have not grown in some areas or who just don't claim salvation. We DO have to be transparent and real. Total agreement there. After all, we're all still growing. We have to hold up the standard.

Thank you THANK YOU THANK YOU for speaking the truth. We all have areas of our life that the pain is so unbearable that we cry to the Lord, and many times we even fight with the Lord. To hide this pain does nothing good, to act out in this pain also does nothing good, but to speak this pain frees us and many of those around us. Today I was truly blessed by what Kim had to say. Church has become a place for masks and a business that has made many rich, not the Hospital for the sick and hurting that it needs to be. Come to me with your money and your gifts, but if you need help . . . . you are looking at the wrong Church. Once again I am not meaning to offend, but I am speaking my opinion and the opinion of many I have shared a cold shoulder on the road with. The only God I trust in, is the God that lives inside of my heart. Sing to the Lord oh my soul.

I loved her testimony. Even if nothing else seems real to others what she said is so true . The masks need to come off and just live for God obediently and as best as we can. That mask it what hinders our life because no one is perfect. Nor does it mean life is going to be especially different for a christian versus anyone else its just who we focus our faith, cares, victories and blessings on.
When you take yourself out of it not only does it take so many unrealistic expectations off of yourself along with what others put on you but it lifts burdens that we can't control off of our minds to think we must try to control. Just knowing someone one greater above loves you unconditionally and will see you through with favor, grace and mercy just helps get you through it all better. No one was ever meant to be alone on the journey of life...For me God is that beam of hope and love that he customizes just for me even when I'm not loving as i should or very lovable in return. that's why i can say thank you lord for all you've done!
