The Jump Around in Wisconsin is a tradition that started in 1998 or 1999. They play the song before the 4th quarter begins. The fans jumping is amazing to see and you can feel the stadium shake because of the jumping. I've been to a Wisconsin Badgers football game over ten years ago and it's like a party. Bunch of singing and chants. On Wisconsin!

Sweet Caroline is an "American" song all the way. It was written by Neil Diamond and first played at a sporting event in 1997 at a Boston Red Sox baseball game . And it is still played at US sporting events.

For college you definitely should come down to Louisiana for when LSU and Alabama play each other in Death Valley. The tailgating is so good and you'll get a Cajun flair. I went to another school down in Baton Rouge and we used to go to the LSU vs Bama tailgate just to have a good time. We didn't even have tickets to the game, you'll get tons of food and free drinks. In general the college football tailgating atmosphere is really friendly and people share.

Hey they said it themselves. Best tailgating is in Oxford Mississippi. Although it's a 65,000 cap stadium, you can still get somewhat a big stadium feel. But if you want a true big stadium feel, go to places like Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Texas A&M, etc

James and Millie, I never get tired of these videos of best college football atmospheres . You should also check out one ot the videos on best college football team entrances or introductions. BTW, "Sweet Caroline" is also really popular at Boston Red Sox home games at Fenway Park. "Lights" by Journey
Is popular at San Francisco Giants home games because the song is about San Francisco and Journey is from San Francisco. In fact a few times in the past during the playoffs or Worid Series, lead singer Steve Perry led the whole ballpark in singing a rendition of the song!

The cow’bells’ are a Mississippi State University tradition. Traditionally, noise makers aren’t allowed at games in football, but the NCAA/SEC make an exception for Miss State under the ‘rule’ that they cannot be rang when the center puts his hand down on the ball, and that you can start after the ball is snapped (it’s actually pretty well followed, you’d be surprised!). But that noise gives an even bigger home field advantage and is difficult to play in front of.
History: the legend is that Mississippi State was down big to their rival, Ole Miss, a long time ago, and being a cow school a cow got loose and wandered out onto the field during the game. Miss State ended up coming back and the cow became a symbol of good luck for the games: the school began to wrangle one and bring it into the games for a good luck charm. But this was a little impractical and instead the idea of fans using cowbells was born.
Also, it’s bad luck to buy yourself a cowbell for the games and it is supposed to be given as a gift to State fans. Neat tradition I am happy to be apart of!
    Hail State.

CLEMSON VS SOUTH CAROLINA first game story involves Clemson a military school then, a fight turned into a riot.
The city of Columbia divided by a barricade and a boxing ring built OVER the barricade for fans to settle their differencess...
The Rivalry has only gotten more intense...
Frank Howard (Clemsons coach responsible for the Rock and the run down the hill) once said,
"If Clemson and South Carolina played Marbles, 60,000 fans would show up."

You should react to an comedy sketch about American Football called “What it was, was football”. It is by Andy Griffith from 1953.
The routine is told from a southern country preacher who discovered, due to a series of unusual events, about college football. He describes the game of football through the lens of a simple country man who never saw anything like it before. I’d love to see your reaction.
Andy Griffith was an American actor and singer who is most famous for starring in a 1960’s TV show called the Andy Griffith Show. It was set in a small southern town and Andy was the sheriff. True wholesome television.

For context on the bell video: That is Mississippi State University, and those bells are called Cowbells. Unique to Mississippi State. Artificial noise makers are illegal in all sporting events in all major sports in the USA, the NCAA (ruling body of college athletic in the USA) has made an amendment to allow Cowbells at Mississippi State home games because it’s a long standing tradition of the schools to have them at football games.
The story of the cowbell: One of the harshest and brutal rivalries in college football is Mississippi State vs Ole Miss (University of Mississippi). Only separated by 80 miles the two schools hate each other with passion, the fans hate each other everyone involved hates each other. In the 1920’s the rivalry was being played and Mississippi State was at home losing pretty bad late in the game and a cow (with a cowbell) walked onto the field and stopped play. Mississippi State after that stoppage made a huge comeback and won the game in miracle fashion, and to honor the cow the students at the time started bringing Cowbells to home games and the tradition was born.

Some of the stadiums seen in this video are among the biggest in the world. Filling them up is a huge money maker for the schools, and thus explaining the weirdness you discussed in a recent video about why the coaches make so much money. As far as tailgating goes, college games are played mostly every Saturday from September through November. A school in the south will have better weather, plan your trip and see what bigger schools are in that area.

For tailgating, they are ALL good, you just need to pick a school that HAS A LARGE tailgate in the parking lot. Not every university has it. pro tip: if you go to college football game, come to the US in OCTOBER because the August and September games can be so hot you'll be miserably, especially the further south and east you go.
My recommendation would be to go to a RIVALRY GAME at the end of the season, ideally with a top-ranked program. If you go to USC or Stanford or UCLA at the end of the season, it will be a great time just because the weather will be brilliant.
they should have Army Navy here in this video.

Tailgate experience I would say #1 would be LSU. A different type of Tailgate is in Austin for The Univ. of Texas. That is a great party before the game.
Auburn does a great game day experience and same for Tennessee.
OleMiss is nice but I believe they aren’t allowed to cook any real food because of ordinances around the stadium but the crowd and drinks is great for OleMiss. This might tick off some people but I think MissSt is a better tailgate than OleMiss but going to Oxford (OleMiss) is still something I would do.
One that is embarrassing to me and it’s listed in this video is Texas A&M. It’s just a bunch a weirdos and I would stay away from there.

I guess this isn't about football.....at USC in Los Angeles, the fraternities have different colored lines on the sidewalks to help drunk fraternity bros. find their way home after getting drunk........?

Don't mean to be a Darrin Downer, but the video y'all are reacting to has no context whatsoever. Therefore,if someone doesn't already know about whichever tradition they are watching, it won't have much of an impact.🤷‍♂️
