Congratulations on a wonderful 29 year career Karen Sweet! My son, Brian, was 3 when Karen began driving him to school everyday for many, many years. Brian is now 25. Okay, wanna know how to NOT use the headlights in the day on buses? Okay. Go to the headlight switch, and flip them to "Off". How NOT to use the warn loghts? When stopped, just dont press the flasher light, and to cancel red light, just flip door switch to Cancel or whatever your buses instructions is...

If you look very closely, you see that she has the dome lights on while the kids are on the bus. Awesome. I remember riding one of my school buses with the lights on.

@@rjjc123 my school bus driver she is so strict, we all have to wear seat belts adjusted properly and pulled tight, and we all have to wear a motorbike helmet fastened propley and she will always stop and check us, we get a bus report if we don't.
@@manjelos some kids can't control their bodies, that's why the seat belts, too. it doesn't have anything to do with getting in an accident, buses are very safe like that.

This video is so sad about how she said that she had most of her kids since she was 3, and when she said that they are like your family, really breaks my heart. But most bus drivers I’ve had just take me to school and home and sometimes never say good morning! I hope she lives on
All school bus drivers need to love what they do…. We need a sheepdog type attitude. Put our students ahead of ourself and always be ready to protect them….👍🏻👍🏻

She's just like my old bus driver. She retired last year and she was the best bus driver I knew. I rode the bus with her since I was two years old in Pre-K and now 9 years later I'm in 5th grade and she's not here to watch me go to Middle school. She picked me as one of her favorite Students in her career (15+ years of driving) and now she's spending time with her family, grand children, husband , and her kids. I think she deserves to retire as a bus driver and a cafeteria worker @ the high school. That's my story of my favorite bus driver. And if you think I'm cringy then that's your opinion not mine.
