Nice one Rocket. Keep it going. 291 wpm at the 30 second mark. The 272 wpm that you've just broken had you at 283 wpm at the 30 second mark. Considering that you were "only" typing at 280 wpm at the 15 second mark in this video, to gain 11 wpm in the next 15 seconds is crazy.
Also Josh still has the 2 minute world record at 247 wpm. You could easily beat that. I reckon doing more 2 minute tests would help you build the endurance that you need to carry more of your speed for the entire 60 seconds.
You were going at 280 wpm at 15 seconds, 291 wpm at 30 seconds but then it drops back to 279 wpm at 45 seconds and then falls further from there. The 2 minute tests would help you speed across the finish line in a 1 minute test. It will make 1 minute feel more like 30 seconds. Imagine what would happen to your speed over 1 minute if you got your 2 minute PB up to 260 wpm.

@@zanies6288 2 minute tests would help him sustain closer to his peak speed for a longer period of time which would make his 1 minute tests even faster.
It works in the same way with 1 minute tests making your 30 second speed faster. He's able to type at 291 wpm for 30 seconds by focusing on doing 1 minutes tests i.e. typing for double the duration of a 30 second tests.
Yet at the end of the 1 minute world record he's dropped to 273 wpm.
Consistent 2 minute practice will help him turn that 273 wpm into a 280 wpm because when he switches back to 1 minute tests they will feel much shorter than they currently do. He'll be cruising across the finish line rather than desperately trying to hang on and not let the speed drop to 260 wpm.

In short, just to 60 second tests. The improvement in endurance will help your 15 second speed without you even having to work on it directly.
Look at Rocket's 30 second personal best from December 18th, 2021. It's only 206 wpm, yet in the first 30 seconds of this video he got 291 wpm. When you practice 60 second tests, every duration below that will improve automatically.
