I remember seeing this house before. I found this Family on Facebook with old family pictures that were taken in this house. The lady that lived here was an animal lover and she liked cats very much. Such a sad situation. I think the older Gentleman passed away and then they moved away from that house? They live in PA still, based on what I have seen, maybe? I am just speculating from what I saw on the Facebook account. I have watched this before and hoped that I would watch it again and I just came across it now. Very very heart wrenching to see the pictures left behind, and some of the Army Uniform. I totally respect our Soldiers to the highest level. Thank you all for your Service and may God Bless you all and keep you safe from harm.
Kitty Ewing the name on the certificate on the pool table. why on Earth would someone track this family down? people just don't Know how to mind their own business I guess. I am curious after they found them on Facebook.... what exactly was talked about the Filth? puke and poop? why even go through the trouble.. Kitty not all of my reply is for you. it was just easier to continue to just keep writing on one post
It's NeeNee people are just interested in the back story. Interested in how this place got abandoned in the first place, and what it was like before being abandoned, Pretty easy to understand why someone would go through the trouble if you ask me, or maybe it's actually hard to understand and I'm just smart 🤷🏽♂️
I can understand being curious about the story behind it. I can't understand leaving things behind that you actually care about and for someone else to have to clean up. Throw it away, give it away, burn it, take it - something.
by the way at 1:27 ....i noticed on the ground there...beside the chairs ...i saw the black beret ...as a veteran ..i recognized it right away with the blue badge on it ...yes i wore that same beret when i served ...sad to just see it laying there in the junk
I agree. Leave the family alone and don't track them down. There may be some very tramatic experiences that they don't want to rehash. I am a former military wife and recognize the uniforms. My husband is now deceased at the age of 36 and I don't want anyone posting his story on facebook. Leave it alone, for the familys sake.
Also your conclusion in the description is totally the vibe I got. Old couple (or one old person) living there possibly with their son at the same time. The couple passed away and the son stayed for a bit till he left for whatever reason. Houses left like this make me sad. This was someone's entire life pretty much, left just to decay now
Very sad indeed . This place was really nice at one time, maybe could be with a lot of elbow grease and new flooring just to start with. Left to decay and fall in itself.
For anyone who is interested in the backstory of this home, the name of the gentleman who lived here is Kenneth Eshbaugh. His obituary can be found here: www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/dayton-oh/kenneth-eshbaugh-5975886. It reads, quote: "Eshbaugh, Kenneth L., age 81 of Miamisburg, Ohio and Pharr, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2014 in McAllen, Texas. Kenneth was born in Ellerton, Ohio on February 11, 1932 to the late Mark and Lois (nee. Schenck) Eshbaugh. He was a lifelong member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and the University of Dayton. Kenneth proudly served his country as a US Army Pilot in Vietnam and Germany. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Eshbaugh and by a sister, Eleanor Whitesell. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty J. Eshbaugh, one daughter, Lisolette Mitz, and her husband, Jonathan Mitz of Warrenton, Virginia, as well as a grandchild, Erik L. Mitz, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services are to be announced at a later date." His funeral was held on Thursday, May 22, 2014. I made some corrections to the sentence structure.
I watch a lot of people on UA-cam that explores abandoned homes and stuff but ur videos are the best ur not afraid to show everything like dead pets left behind not many people like to show stuff like that keep up the great work
Definitely looks like the home of someone younger than in the pictures. Anytime you see Amry ACU's, running shoes with a reflector belt, and alcohol it's gotta be the home of a military member or prior military. The ACU's are quite recent, so won't belong to a senior citizen. I would say National Guard or Reserves given that you're in Ohio. May have been a hunter for recreation. Great videos!
My mom had a lot of Eddy Howard 78s (78rpm) records in the '40s. One I remember was "To Each His Own," which won awards. "Les Brown and His Band of Renown" was closely associated with Bob Hope, on his radio and TV shows and USO tours in WWII. From the way this double-wide sat on the land, I'm pretty sure they did just what my cousin and her husband did: took off the undercarriage and slid the halves across the prepared basement on steel I-beams. The chimney started at floor level to the basement and stretched up past the "ground" level. The sliding glass doors were part of the basement wall. One of my cousin's neighbors had a setup just like this. The basement was also heated with electric baseboard heaters, same as the main part of the home. Cozy: blazing fire on the hearth while they played pool and could open the doors in warmer weather. Add my vote: Get a respirator, man!
I think the people in the photo are the grandma and grampa of someone who lived there and lost their house to the bank, banks take forever to sell foreclosed properties sometimes
They probably didn't do it on purpose. They either didn't have anyone there helping them because of their advanced age, or they no longer were in a fit mental state, and they had no one to help.
Not a bad little fixer upper you got there! A couple glade plugins and a few rugs and this place will be a good little starter home to start a family in.
Seems odd they would have the same picture of two people in several rooms. Bet it was a picture of parents or grandparents of the person living there. All that poop and the bags of dog food almost looks like they left a pet behind. I half expected you to find a dead dog in one of the rooms. So glad you didn't!
It certainly seems that one was locked up in there for a time, unless the owner had simply neglected to let the dog out or maintain the litter box while living there, so that it started going everywhere. Odd situation, whatever happened. If an animal was locked in there, maybe it was finally rescued or managed to escape!
Sad to say but the best thing to do would be to have a company go in there, take out aything of value, donate it to a thrift shop like Goodwill, and then tear it down. Clear the lot for resale.
That house actually seemed like a really cool setup. Sad that it was taken care of so poorly. Really only other bad thing about it was the traffic noise. Never seen a mobile home with a basement before
Sad to see a place like this go. Definitely spacious. Inside for the most part (apart from the trash left) doesn't seem to be in that bad of condition. Although, didn't see most of the ceiling so it may have been a lost cause depending. Lots of interesting stuff left over. Good find!
Pretty nice home! Needs some people to clean it up and make it presentable. I wonder, why everyone just left it there. Maybe they were kicked off the land. it would make sense. Nice video Urbex Dane
I would guess someone died in there and the pets were left unattended. Maybe the pets died afterwards. Who knows how long you could lay dead and no one comes around. Then the property goes thru probate and past due taxes. Might not have family. The ammonia smell could be to get the dead body smell out
be nice you put post what city, country and state this was taken in!! i love it when people like you don't bother to post the city and state where this was taken!!!!!
What happens when you die and your family don't give a shit. Probably the kids came in went through took what they wanted, money was owed tot he bank and the bank just sat on it and did nothing. Happens all the time.
Looks like a foreclosure. They usually do as much as possible to destroy the property when they leave. Crazy mindset. “I asked for a loan. You gave it to me. I quit paying you back, and you went and foreclosed. I lived here for months without paying for anything, and then you went and foreclosed. Well, I’ll fix you. When I get done with this place, nobody will be able to live here!” Wtf? You should have been wearing HAZMAT gear. Thanks for the tour, Urbex Dane!
those models and some of those die cast cars are worth some bucks.great video..and old feller like the one that died.ya only know he had a hidden place he stashed cash
I can't believe you opened the fridge and freezers, I almost barfed, that had to be the nastiest smell short of a dead body. Cool stuff in there, I wanted the models, the records are worth coin.
you seriously need to wear a mask and gloves in these places you're going into.. Just ran across your videos tonight enjoy them very much Keep On Keepin On and God bless
A lot of places wind up like this when the owner of the place passes and no one in the family wants to deal with it because they already have something nicer. Especially if the place needs work and money invested into it. Its easier for them just to close their eyes and walk away from it and say "I will deal with this some other time". I know this because when my mother passed my older sister was assigned to take care of her trailer and land because her greed she insisted on it. Years went by and my mothers home fell apart just like this one. We walked upon some Squatters and drug users that were huffing paint out there. We held him until the sheriff arrived then we left. That was the last time I have been out there which was about 5 years ago.

9:13 that green folder is from the vets office. It's what you get when you purchase your new dogs first set of puppy shots. I have the exact same one from my dog.
you can hear him come out the door that made noise he shows the door and its not moving but at 19:54 as he pans back around the door to that bedroom is swing back and forth lightly
If he was military he could've had a PTSD moment and lost his mind and trashed his home and abandoned it because he lost his mind. Or he could've been kicked out by landlord and he trashed it to get back at him or her. Or he could've been single and died in combat and just never returned home.
such a beautiful home ... this haz alwayz been ideal living - for anyone - w/ a 79 hatch'bak piece of chit in the yard on cinder blocks - spent beer bottles scattered all over the stoop & front lawn - a dirt / gravel driveway - & a wooden milk crate mounted upon a stick for a mail'box ... Hill-Billy Dream House
He had lizards because i saw a mister on the porch and mealworms in the fridge door where you keep butter normally.Reptile owners including myself usually store our worms and repashy and no food up in that space.
Urbex Dane if I walked in the house I would be on the fucking floor! I'm HIGHLY allergic to ammonia. I would literally pass out. As a Mack truck would hit you. 😓
eddy howard was big in the 40's to 50's with catchy numbers like if you was the only girl in the world , teenage waltz and others in the time it would have been classed as easy listening or even party tunes. also seems he like music from ww2 and just after
Anyone else notice the bedroom door move on its own right at the end of the video when he says think I've covered everything in this house. The door with the hole in it moves 😯
I think it's Dave breathing; he inhales, and then moves towards the door, and exhales. If you listen with headphones, you can hear it's just his breath.
Ammonia smell probably from cats. Also all the poo in corners and along the wall. Usually cats will do that. I noticed the photo hanging a couple inches from the ceiling.....I never understood why some people hang their pictures, art work, photos clear up near the ceiling. Way up high on the wall. Wall art etc. is supposed to be at Eye Level.
Technicality, but it's not a double wide. Lol A lot of very low cost construction in the north looks like this...it's just a very basic ranch style house.
Extremely unhygenic coprophile heartland types last lived here. It is evident that the previous owners were abusive, careless & ungrateful for what they had.
Holy Dog Shit for days !!!! Oh and the refrigerator, YOU JUST HAD TO DO IT !!!!! I backed away from my laptop at this part yelling NO DON"T DO IT. But you went there, awwwwww yuuuuukkkkk
how do you go about finding abandoned houses? I live in florida and I love going "ghost hunting" I really want to try this out. any tips on finding houses?

Thank you for your service and dedication

Would have been a nice little home in its prime! Always a bit sad seeing the old family photos left to decay.
Probably would have been nice, especially if the basement was ever finished off.
Nah, place is a shithole and always was.

+Zoey Beukema Thank you very much Zoey. I still have room for improvement
You need a respirator if you're going to go into places like this. Think about your health man. That stuff is no joke.
Just randomly came across this old vid. Good job man, nice explore. Looks like a squatters dream!!
Beyond the obvious mess, this explore is quite interesting with so much character and different finds throughout. Great vid!
+Kat The smell was horrible, it ruined the explore. I thought it was so cool to find a mobile home with a basement.
My mom had a lot of Eddy Howard 78s (78rpm) records in the '40s. One I remember was "To Each His Own," which won awards. Now this was a great tour! Loved how you took your time with each room! Great find!!!
I think the people in the photo are the grandma and grampa of someone who lived there and lost their house to the bank, banks take forever to sell foreclosed properties sometimes
The shoes on the chair legs scared me so much at first. Just popping up like that I thought it was a body
+Snotgirl 😂
Reminds me of my wife's aunt's house after she passed two years ago. Extremely bad conditions, I don't get how people can live like that.
They probably didn't do it on purpose. They either didn't have anyone there helping them because of their advanced age, or they no longer were in a fit mental state, and they had no one to help.
I wouldn't mind having that little collectors car in the one room..
Davey Allison #28...
R.I.P. Davey Allison.
R Boyd,
Ricky Rudd drove the #28 also for Robert Yates Racing...
Not a bad little fixer upper you got there! A couple glade plugins and a few rugs and this place will be a good little starter home to start a family in.
ao el Nothing napalm can't fix!
ao el, LMFAO! One way to "freshen" up the living room is taking a torch and lighting it and toss it in through the window.
A few gallons of gas, a road flare... no problem. 😀
@@BennyLlama39 made a very similar comment

sounds like a cat or cats were locked in there, the ammonia smell is cat wee wee 😷😷😷
I hope nothing bad happened to that loving couple in the photos!!
how the hell did you stand in front of that fridge for so long??
+Freelance opportunist The struggle was real
Urbex Dane Haha, no doubt!
Cool house,
I love these double wide houses.
Thanks for the tour.
Great video... I like your style ... nice & slow with camera. Good job ! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
I woulda rather seen a ghost than the inside of that fridge 🤮
The Camo is US ARMY ACU I have a complete uniform with the boots
Adam Burroughs you must feel special. have a cookie

Paytar Stempez another useless cool guy with nothing to contribute so you talk shit to somebody supplying info , nice job
Adam Burroughs I have tons of them since my dad used to be in the army and retired earlier this year

Absolutely right.
sad. its really sad that memories and homes are just left to rot. it makes me sad to think that no one cares.
hope you didn't breathe much of that mold!

those are old 78 records---all the records are famous names for the 40-50s

love the videos...absolutely love the music in the beginning of this one
Appears as if the seniors passed or moved to housing, now all is in decay. All of ones life's accumulations, covered in spider webs.
be nice you put post what city, country and state this was taken in!! i love it when people like you don't bother to post the city and state where this was taken!!!!!
+Michael Gibbons I don't give out information on every property. Especially this home, I talked to the past owner.
Urbex Dane what did they say? What became of this place why os it left like this
What happens when you die and your family don't give a shit. Probably the kids came in went through took what they wanted, money was owed tot he bank and the bank just sat on it and did nothing. Happens all the time.

nice house with bad housekeeping.
+Michelle Johnson Indeed it is.
the packaging on the LP's are called sleeves. The LP's stay in those sleeves, inside their album covers, to keep from getting scratched.
Those records are very old 78 RPM , maybe played 5 min. per side tops. Just enuf time for one song.
Another great video 👍🏽

Love the door knob door stop affixed to the baseboard heater, classy stuff.
Two coins on bathroom counter when you walk in but only one when you back out. 🤔

Ugh as soon as I seen what was in that fridge I instinctually went to cover my face.... Nasty
This made me sad. I think the last one passed and they either had no one to clean the house out or their family didn't care.

Why you take that quarter in bathroom though
Looks like it's been looted on top of being a mess with crap. That's sad.
when he opened up that fridge I was salivating.Haven't eaten for weeks!
you can hear him come out the door that made noise he shows the door and its not moving but at 19:54 as he pans back around the door to that bedroom is swing back and forth lightly
If he was military he could've had a PTSD moment and lost his mind and trashed his home and abandoned it because he lost his mind. Or he could've been kicked out by landlord and he trashed it to get back at him or her. Or he could've been single and died in combat and just never returned home.
such a beautiful home ...
this haz alwayz been ideal
living - for anyone
- w/ a 79 hatch'bak piece of chit
in the yard on cinder blocks
- spent beer bottles scattered
all over the stoop & front lawn
- a dirt / gravel driveway
- & a wooden milk crate
mounted upon a stick
for a mail'box ...
Hill-Billy Dream House
the random ass copy of Staind's "14 Shades of Grey" at 3:10 lmao
That's a good sized house. It can be cleaned up. I've seen worse
those records are amazing
He had lizards because i saw a mister on the porch and mealworms in the fridge door where you keep butter normally.Reptile owners including myself usually store our worms and repashy and no food up in that space.
Ugh, poop, bleh!! Dont breathe Dane!!! I'd gag, dunno how you do it.
Donna it was rough lol.
Urbex Dane if I walked in the house I would be on the fucking floor! I'm HIGHLY allergic to ammonia. I would literally pass out. As a Mack truck would hit you. 😓
did you ever get caught in those homes?
eddy howard was big in the 40's to 50's with catchy numbers like if you was the only girl in the world , teenage waltz and others in the time it would have been classed as easy listening or even party tunes. also seems he like music from ww2 and just after
Anyone else notice the bedroom door move on its own right at the end of the video when he says think I've covered everything in this house. The door with the hole in it moves 😯
great vid, btw at 19:36 I heard a weird whispering type sound ...could be nothing but sounded out of place..nice find
+Krimsunblud thank you. Hard to tell what that sound was. The highway traffic was loud
People get old and cannot take care of property.
I hate to see such a beautiful place be in the shape that is in.
awesome into man
+Thomas Boussu Thanks Thomas
Did you ever go back for that Talladega Nights DVD?
Extremely unhygenic coprophile heartland types last lived here. It is evident that the previous owners were abusive, careless & ungrateful for what they had.
Holy Dog Shit for days !!!! Oh and the refrigerator, YOU JUST HAD TO DO IT !!!!! I backed away from my laptop at this part yelling NO DON"T DO IT. But you went there, awwwwww yuuuuukkkkk
how do you go about finding abandoned houses? I live in florida and I love going "ghost hunting" I really want to try this out. any tips on finding houses?
I subbed , ill have a look at you other vids later , liked this one very much.
Neglect & Vandalism to the max...what a waste of a once nice home. Story worth researching on.
