A great documentation of Chick's first several days ,post hatch. This morning's part i saw live--and see more now than before. I think the 2 things that stand out: (1) Mom Wasted no time getting acquainted with her first Born--such as the Beak strength test with a large piece of rabbitt.(2) Mom(as seen) really loves her bundle of equal components of herself and her Guy Mr. C and moves her body to caress it so lovingly as she tills the nest dirt beneath it. Stelian---Thank You. Great Visual Effort for the Chat group to plow thru in detail as one sees all that is available . Don't know the Parents yet by ID--maybe not possible for me, but love the one that barks like a dog .

I think the second prey is Coronella austriaca from minute 0:40 but the first one from minute 0:11 I think is Vipera. There are 2 prey brought at different times. In the video it is not the moment when Caliman brings the second prey.
