Hey Dave, i own a 1965 A65 what i thought was a lightning, but uopn looking up the engine numbers its a "E" designation, i was wondering if you would be willing to do a video on the differences of the Lightning and a Spitfire/Hornet?
I've not had a British bike since the 1980s but always like to.look! Out of interest now we have e10 unleaded what fuel do you put in these classics and do you also put an addative in too?
I remember them well, my uncle had an A65 lightening to travel to work and back. That was in the late 50's ! Being a much older model ( bought from new) his had plunger rear suspension.
I dont know why there is a number plate fitted on the front mudguard in, an accident with a pedestrian it can cause a lot of damage, which is why the legislation was altered to remove it. does the customer want it to look period.
That, is a nice example of a BSA, looked after and kept in condition to give much pleasure on a summers day ride,
Another Great Job Dave
Lovely bike with a great sound!
Beautiful bike👌
an absolute beauty
That's real nice. I just can't go the Siamese pipes, though. I always think they 'upset the balance' of the bike.
Sounds good.

Any bike off of which you can eat your dinner is nothing more than a garage queen
