So without replacing the rods, would the threads not line up with new bolts basically because of stretching?
(And therefore, you would either round the bolts or strip the threads...or is that not correct? 🤔 I can't find or know of any other meaning because ignorance 😉😂)

Oh there's a whole host of issues in this case. It's a bit of a complicated one but to perhaps hit a few points:
Replacing the rod bolts: this is truthfully the next known weak point of these engines, perhaps if you're bouncing off the rev limiter all the time or thrashing the engine non-stop it might be a real issue, it's not likely to become a problem for me but once you know of a weak point you want to fix it. The problem is using stronger bolts or even just replacing with new bolts has a very high chance to apply a larger clamping force on the rods and essentially stretch them out of being perfectly round. The cheap solution to this is just to not replace them.. the proper solution it to replace them, get them re-rounded and the expensive and easy solution is just to replace with new rods.
Replacing the pistons rods: For some reason ALL aftermarket Rod manufacturers don't actually make "normal" size rods, they decided to basically re-use their old design from the older Chevy v8's rather than just make new designs this means that the Rods are a fraction longer and therefore with the normal pistons would poke up out of the cylinder bore (plus they don't fit the OEM pistons either) so it forced you to replace both which is just an expense I can't really face :)
All in all it's a bit silly and these issues are a bit of an engine-by-engine case rather then affecting all engines or specifically the LS.
