Ngl at first I didn’t know how to feel about Cohh but after I stop watching for a while I came to realize I missed the content and commentary an im back an about to binge this series💯
I can already tell you're better at reading directions from the screen and figuring what to do than a lot of the game streamers are.

Cohh once you unlock the butcher knife. You can harvest parts however only to pals you own.
Looks fun but that constant meow would drive me nuts.
Other sounds are way too constant as well.
Hope the sound gets some love.

Maybe by capturing them you actually kill them -> digitalize their body -> clone them -> and release them again as cloned pal. I wouldn't be surprised if that would be a thing in this game 🤣

Perhaps I'm a few hours late on this but if you want to make the game a bit harder but still fun you can go for the custom difficulty

This beginning.... why does that feel like ARK? Waking up on a Beach, onyl carrying few Clothes, punching Trees and Stones for ressources, local Fauna will eat you if youre not careful,....
It bothers me when the game has a spear and your attack animation doesn't even use the full range it allows because they just hold it exactly in the middle rather than thrusting the full length of the shaft forward like anyone with common sense would do.

Pokemon does not own the genre. If every MONSTER TAMING game is a pokemon clone then pokemon is just an SMT clone.
While the things you can catch look great, pretty much everything else in this game looks like a generic 'Made in Unreal Engine' survival game.
Game looks pretty fun, maybe thats just me, but I personally have no problem with this game. Its got goofy graphics and shit, sure, but its an actual game where you do stuff like with guns, and slavework. I dont see why peolle want this game to be another shit pokemon game, its a survival game mixed with arceus.

i agree, it's ARK all over again. nothing but a reskin of ARK. it's crazy how in engine trailers and pictures can make a game look so much better than the actual gameplay.
Pal interaction and automation is interesting. We'll see if it is enough, or expanded upon enough.
I guess that's the thing tho, if they did that wouldn't it just be Pokemon and why wouldn't you just go play Pokemon then right?
Game looks interesting not gonna say amazing. Personally I think I'm like you and find Ark style games boring, but we gotta remember that doesn't directly make them bad or mid just different.
I think the Pals and automation are suppose to appeal to people who might normally not play Ark but would play this. And to be fair, if it's similar to ark but new with better graphics could just be the next Ark which isn't bad just not great.
That was my thought as well. Just a basic survival with a slight creature gimmick.
Perhaps they'll flesh it out. I'll be keeping an eye on it because it has potential. I'm just worried this is another case of hype blindness.
To circle back on this a week later, I think you’re still right but obviously they nailed something a lot of people really wanted. The hype will fall off a cliff when people reach the point it gets boring. The real test will be how they iterate to hold the audience.
