Is this the world’s weirdest airport? 🇹🇭

After partying it up on Koh Tao and at the Full Moon Party on a beach in Koh Phangan, we had a full day in Koh Samui which we used to visit Wat Phra Yai (Big Buddha Temple), Fisherman’s Village and take in an evening of muay Thai boxing at Samui International Muay Thai Stadium.
It would then be time to head to our next destination, but there was one final attraction the island had to offer and that was it’s airport.
Samui International Airport is unlike any other passenger terminal as it is open-air, meaning that even when you’re in the airport, you’re still outside.

Beautiful island stayed there a while ago. Seems that you are tired most of the time, which is a shame , an early night with an early morning works wonders

Nothing wierd about it, it so lovely and so much bigger now than when i first visited it 15 yrs ago but still love it

It's a great airport. I Tavel there each year - the free drinks and buffet is great with Bangkok Air.
