First off you did a really good job for being your first time doing it from scratch. I'm very impressed. For those of you who are using dry yeast just know the water has to be at 110° for it to activate and it needs to stay warm. If it's too hot it kills it, if it's too cold it doesn't grow. Yeast is an active living thing. So sometimes it's good to leave it in the microwave or the oven to try and keep it warm without turning any of that stuff on. As for the pizza sauce you do not need to do this on the stove top, it does not need to be cooked at all, it can just be done in a bowl and don't use water, used tomato sauce with your tomato paste (as an Italian I died a little bit when you did the water 😂).

Couple pointers for first time home made pizza makers one get a pizza stone. 2 crank your oven up as high as it will go. 3 don't cook your sauce before you put it on your pizza (6 years of working in pizza places never cooked sauce before putting it on a pizza). 4 get sliced cheese from your deli some provolone and or mozzarella. Don't cook it on pan a pizza stone will make your crust 10x better.
