Cork and Marriott investigate a string of warehouse robberies, but find that the local police have arrested a suspect - one of their own officers.
This is one of the best mystery series ever. Brilliant, twisting plots and fabulous acting. Thank you again!
You're very welcome!
@@amcguigan2389 agreed. These are fantastic. Ty so much for the time & effort you put in to bring us this wonderful series.
I was 0 years, 8 months old when this aired. I'd never heard of this series before and I'm rapidly becoming addicted!

@14:41 - "I can't tell you any more but you don't have to worry, believe me" ... sounded so creepy
"A policeman`s lot is not a appy one , appy one , when constabulary duty`s to be done , to be done , tooo beee done ! " GREAT !
Gilbert and Sullivan are spining in their collective graves.
I enjoyed this case of, "Sergeant Cork," loved how he solved this case he was very clever, as always. Take care ⚖
Excellent stuff as always, and quite a few familiar faces from later years. And as a liittle bonus a nice bit of microphone boom action top left 41:30.
Back in the day of small screen Black and White TV's with low grade screen quality it would be unseen
BLOODY HELL FULTON MCKAY 😂😂
And playing a dodgy peeler
I’ve never heard of this. Remarkable. Thanks!!!
My pleasure!
I enjoy EVERYTHANG about Chalky White !
Fulton Mackay playing a 'dodgy' Sergeant at the Hammersmith Police Station. His famous role came about 10 years later playing he namesake 'Mr Mackay', the disciplinarian prison warden in 'Porridge' with Ronnie Barker.
