Interesting to note that the director of this episode was Peter Collinson, who from this humble beginning just a few years later went on to direct iconic British movie The Italian Job, starring Michael Caine, Noel Coward and.....Benny Hill..... "In November 2004, Total Film named The Italian Job the 27th greatest British film of all time".
This was a very intriguing and yet heartbreaking case of, "Sergeant Cork." The warden was very profound in his closing message at the end of this story. Take care ⚖
