Tahoe is great...The Suburban is more for me because you can have a full seat load of passengers and still have room to carry all of their stuff.

I'm a big fan of the Tahoe too! But unfortunately with the third row seats up, you don't have that much cubic feet of cargo space...it is awesome like the Suburban.

Love my Tahoe ,except riding in it for awhile .Your behind tends to hurt. Due to the side monitors in the driver's seat. Feels like you're sitting on plywood. But great vehicle overall

I drive a 2013 Tahoe for work... . It's OK but I wouldn't spend my own for on one. If you have a family and want a GM product I would personally go with a GMC Arcadia. If you need to tow I would wait until the fall and get the new Expedition.

it is a hefty amount to spend - but it's a nice ride indeed!

We are going to be purchasing a 3 row vehicle to accommodate our growing family. We are probably going to get a Ford Explorer Sport, as the Expedition, and Suburbans, are way out of our price range. People seriously make enough money that they can throw 65K plus into their car???
My wife and I make 80K a year, which is decent money here in the central plains, and we just couldn't stand paying more than mid 40Ks for a car. I realize that Chevy has some big rebates on theirs, but at 65K plus, you would need about 15K off to get me interested.
And after looking at the Tahoes, they really don't seem to have any more room behind the 3rd row than the Explorers do.

Probably. You listen to shows like Dave Ramsey and he talks to people making 50k a year like they are living on the street. Everything I hear in the media makes me feel like we are way below average.

Well Tony, Sweet Shirt! Don't compare the TAHOE to a Mini Van at $25K difference for a base Tahoe compared to a base Caravan. Anyone would choose the Tahoe if they had the means. But the truth is most Tahoe's will cost $55K-$65K. $30-$40K more then a base caravan. YIKES. But just about the same MPG. hehe

not that much when you really look at it with down payments, trade in, monthly payments, sales, financing, etc. but still pretty pricey yes

I prefer the JX/Pathfinder over this, siesta in rear seat not good here, much better in the Nissan.
