Les Fenêtres de la Roquette, Arles (Calendrier de l'Avent 2013 & 2014)

Maybe you can see why it was so easy to fall in love with this little neighborhood. Our first two Decembers in Arles were the last two years they hosted these special nightly events throughout the Quartier. Sometimes it was about Christmas but usually something else entirely: clowns, drums, mimes, Shakespeare, tango... anything each night's hosts could imagine and present. In December 2021 it was revived and one night as part of the series we projected this short film from footage I gathered in 2013 & 2014.
