Walnut. A colour that goes well in any room lighting. I little while ago I got the Nova 2 and really enjoy them. The Nova 5s would be great to have but I couldn't afford the price at the time. Whichever Nova model you buy you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't mind the Serafino G2 but that is well out of my price range:)
Love your channel, love the entire Sonus Faber McIntosh line. I have a SF/Mc HT and a 2-channel system with the Sonettos as the speakers for both. After the Sonettos were released they had to then upgrade/update both the Nova and Homage line. However now that the Sonetto G2 has some of the Suprema tech, I wonder how it will now compare with the Olympica and if that midrange will find it's way onto the Olympicas and Homages.
Hello PB, it's always tough to say whether a speaker is "too much" or "not enough" for a given room size, simply because there is such a huge difference in how heavily a given individual leans on the volume control, or how much bass a person likes, etc. Please visit us or a dealer local to you and give a listen!
@@GramophoneMD Thanks, since posting I've been busy... I went from Nova 3's to Serafino G2's and ended up at Amati G5's! My speaker journey is over for now - Great videos - keep up the awesome work!
I am currently using Audio note Cobra for this speaker....What will be your recommendation for pre-amp+power amp (total budget for amps is USD 10K) for this speakers (Sonus Faber Olimpica Nova III)?
Thanks Cchsiao817, there are several ways you can go, depending on what you want to achieve and which sources you'll be connecting. Please reach out to us and we can advise further: ask@gramophone.com
Thanks Bharatkrav, the MC 1502 is great, a beastly 150 wpc, and stable enough to drive tough loads. Nova V is 90 dB sensitivity, a 4 ohm load; this combo should sound great. Please reach out to us if you want to discuss further; ask@gramophone.com
@@GramophoneMD thank you for that! I don’t think I’ve heard a bad sounding Sonus Faber yet, have you heard the Steinem Alumine 3’s by chance if so how do you think they compare? I heard them once and was blown away.
Hello Yettamon, both are really nice sounding, but they are in different price ranges as the Bowers & Wilkins is roughly 15 - 20% more. We can offer subjective comments, but you're far better served by listening to them with your favorite music at a dealer that stocks both, as we do. We hope to see you soon
Had mine for about a year and love them. Drive them with an MC462 that I got @gramophone with Ryan’s help 😊 CII and the Nova I’s make the center and rear of the setup.

Hello Ennio, thank you for loving our channel! Yes, we're eager to get the new Sonetto G2 products in and on display, so we can see for ourselves
Do you think these are too much for a 11' x 19' room with the speakers on the 19' wall facing the 11' side?

I wonder if a mcintosh mc1502 would pair well with these speakers . Any advice?

Is the Sonetta 5 above this madel?
The Olympica series is above the Sonetta series in performance and build quality. Both series sell really well for us

Can you compare this with bw803d4?

Exotic speakers 😍
Walnut yes plzz.
Awesome review. Cant agree more. The king of value.
Would you pair these speakers with the naim 500 series?
For sure!
I like the violin Red color.

Lovely lovely lovely combo. What preamp are you using?
WENGE!!!!!
Wenge!!!
Yes, wenge looks really cool. Sonus faber takes pride in making all their finishes look great
Smooth voice , could almost be on TV. Then we see the face and nah, that would not work too well.
Errr...thanks, I guess...
19000 dollars no Sir thanks I rather spend that kind of money to restore my 1882 GMC Sierra truck sitting on my Driveway
1882? That’s gonna need a lot of restoration.
Better investment than a vehicle. Speakers hold value.
@@GramophoneMD I don't think so Bro take care there's more people searching for classic trucks that speakers
