Whenever I travel alone I spend my nights journaling about my day. It’s a really nice way to not feel alone at night and to record your feelings while they’re still fresh
Perfect moment to see this video - i Just came back from 3 weeks trip in Japan where i wanted to journal but as always i brought back tons of papers and Just empty notebooks with a few stamps. I have also journals from last year to finish and i love doing it but it always takes me ages 😂 I love the idea with “favs” page ❤
Take your time! It does add up but it also depends on how you build the habit :) Favorites are a great way to cap off the trip and it's easy to remember because they're your faves!!
I have recently been to South Korea and really want to travel journal about it, but I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed with all the ephemera and not knowing where to start. This was a really helpful video to get me going. Thanks for your tips! 😄✈️
As always, wonderful video Abbey. I've totally adopted your tip of using a TN Weekly insert for trip summaries. So useful, even at the trip planning stage of things.
I normally only travel journal when I go on a trip outside of England, but with money being tight atm I don’t think I’m going to get an abroad trip this year so I think im going to add my few days at the sea side in my journal
Very useful tips! Hope to implement at least a few after my next trip. Also love the Lego spread! The legos add a new dimension. On a side note: Are you considering to host any more workshops in Europe? If so please include Brussels/Brugge on your list :)
I admire fitting all of those on an a6 or smaller for all of these. But maybe because i use a thicker a6 so it bulked too much 😂 having thin notebooks fitting just one trip or subject should be an obvious way to go but i can't let go of not seeing them all in one place (so i've compromised with keeping more digital photos and tryna doodle any that i could draw as a non artist hahaha) any photos i really wanna put is printed, already digitally edited, and kept as a flap 😂

Eee thanks! A workshop attendee gave it to me and I love it so much-Robert Oster Honeybee is a new discovery!

Thanks for the tips! I have so much travel ephemera that I want to put in some passport notebooks. And I just got your book and love it!
Enjoy!!
This video was so helpful. I'm starting my travel journal journey and seeing what you do sparked so many ideas.
What type of adhesive do you use?
I mostly use glue stick!

Travel can also be visiting the park or going to the sea side!
Love all of it! Which kind of insert do you use when you do watercolor + writings?
mostly MD Paper cream!! I don't do watercolor on TRAVELER's Notebook
Your journals are always so pretty 🥰🥰
Thanks
Beautiful
Thank you!
This reminded me to finish my Copenhagen pages! I think we visited the city around the same time haha
Haha cool! Time to finish!

Not at the moment, I'm doing US workshops and mostly for Europe, just in Berlin, where I live :)
@@AbbeySy I hope to attend in Berlin next time :)
I love your ideas. Thanks for sharing. This was a really great video. 😊✒️ 📔
Thank you!
This journal turned out so beautiful. I love the stamps you used for the FAVES spread at 10:30, where are those from?
Shachihata!
@@AbbeySyhi! What size is your Shachihata stamp? 😊

To each their own :)
I don’t find the link you mentioned for the commonplace book video
