Thank you Noel for calling "How Does it Feel" one of the best songs of all time. A friend of mine calls this song a cheap Beatles imitation, and I thought he really was wrong... Thanks to Noel I know it is no cheap Beatles imitation!
Jim Lea was a great songwriter and all round musician for Slade. I saw the Original Members at a Youth Club in a Northants town 1972 (Lemmy and Hawkwind played the same venue soon after) as they did a tour of small venues around the country and in Wales too if I remember rightly.. I don't know which band I would prefer to see live now with the original line-up...... Slade or Oasis.. And I Don't Know Why..........
Yeah when a song is popular 20 years on it is truly one of the greats, it matters not how much popularity you get at the time of your fame its what comes later that matters most.
"Of course Liam being Liam, if you watch the footage of top of the pops, the best bit about it is he's so blatantly miming out of time. It cracks me up man."
I've always wondered if they ever regretted not playing live aid....it would have been the shot in the arm they d have needed look at queen, the who, bands on the way out and became huge again.
A fan my ass...How does it feel is from a sixties set movie..get teal hes into pop beatles and monkees twaddle...SLADE were MOVE OVER BABY..DO THE DIRTY...BE...adinfinitum..He dont like that music..also HOW does it feel efged their career...it sold half wot all before did..wasnt their spound dude..its a movie soundtrack and shoulda remained the same..
Dont try and tell me you were a slade fan Gallagher.. Too young and let me tell ya...HOW DOES IT FEEL was a sixties feel track FROM A MOVIE SOUNDTRACK. NOT! Wot the band was all about...if you had been a kid at the time you wud have liked the Osmond
Totally agree with Noel, How does it feel is one of the best songs written
agree 1 of the most under rated songs and bands ever
Everyday for me...fuck it, they're all great.
Mick Parry THE best!
Mick Parry Gudbye to Jane is totally amazing. Up there with AC/DC for riffs. Love them all and my god they've sold some cup of soup x
@@phil2003ashleigh ac/dc are the most overrated shit ever. Not a patch on Slade.
Slade the most underrated band ever and Noddy holder has the best rock voice ever

Patrick Vermeirsch lol Beatles over rated anyway
The Beatles would have loved to write that song (love the Beatles and Slade)
Well Noel certainly knows all about cheap Beatles imitations
It's closer to something off Stones 'Between the Buttons' album, than it is the Beatles imo
Far and away the greatest song by Slade.

Slade's sound is an obvious influence on Oasis

1:30 lol It is actually track 13 on the greatest hits (very best of slade)
And will still be singing it in 100 years.
Slade, superb
Slade wrote some belters. No mugs at all
we love it in the 00 teens nod : )
oasis cover of cum on is a banger : )
Its Christmas......lol
Best band ever...
SLADE
Noel, if you were in a band in the early 70's, you would have also been a diddy man . But you will do for me,
I've always wondered if they ever regretted not playing live aid....it would have been the shot in the arm they d have needed look at queen, the who, bands on the way out and became huge again.
It was nothing to regret. They simply weren't invited. But in a fan club magazine interview in 1986 Dave Hill said they should have been invited.
Freddie sold Nod his famous hat, before Fred was in Queen
everyday
I hate the way Liam struts around the stage, but at least he knows good music when he hears it.
Is there a video of Oasis covering this song on Top of the Pops?
I really want to see watch Liam's hilarious miming 😂😂
I'm not a bloody fish finger...
Ha ha, great film. Everyone should see it.

if only he'd written songs as good as holder-lea
Lea-Holder
what does noel says at 2:15?
He says his brother were out of time and mimed badly. Liam never wanted to do that track
😛😛😛😛😛😛
Lo máximo 🙌 👏 😍 💕 👌 ♥
One of the main reasons i hate Christmas. Noddy Holder screaming " ITS CHRISTMAS!!" as if we didn't fucking know!!. Every year the same BS
Bah humbug.
Move to America, you’ll never hear it.
@@berk4758Unless he’s around me! 🍺🤣

Wow, you actually have a donkey? Secondly are songs like Helter-skelter and Yer Blues pop twaddle? Get a fucking grip.

I was 5 when Slade were huge, and I'm an American. In my 20s I got into them. Do you love any bands that were before your time?
Never seen this video before, brilliant! Two legendary bands!
