I Hope that on the injury front, you guy will have a better year because the rhabdo story is brutal. I want to Thank you for this year, I have join the journey lately and already PR my bench by 10 kg (100kg) and my squat by 12 kg (147kg). I took time for me to op on one of your programs but Through the last 2 years, you guys have convinced me that while I love CrossFit, strength training is definitely necessary for CrossFit if you want to become better at it and have to be as simple as possible, squatting and benching heavy weights, moving heavy weights fast using the Olympic lift. My results after 2 months of running your programs make me definitely confident about the year to come. I about to become a horse!!!
@@sikastrength same for me, not getting the pop-up or the page element to sign up. ublock origin says its blocking googletagmanager and tag.getdrip on the page. the tag.getdrip js being blocked is stopping the signup on the page being displayed, It's being blocked as its on the "EasyPrivacy" list. I haven't found exactly what element being blocked is preventing the pop-up showing. TLDR: turn off adblock if the signup field isn't there

I enjoy a newsletter. Although I'm more of a fan of old Stronger By Science newsletter style where Greg Nuckols was just so enamoured by lifting and bothered by the lack of communication about science and the relevancy to strength sports that he wrote the articles as a hobby, didn't try to turn the newsletter into profit in any way. Sika Strength weightlifting newsletter though? Sign me up. Love how Fitz tries to somehow chain Eoin to some sort of coherent structure for this episode. I can imagine rhabdo feels bad, literally pissing away your muscles through messing up your kidneys. Fitz "two sheds" Jackson, hopefully soon "three sheds". Sika videos helped me a lot and I hit many successes in training last year, easier than I thought I would.
Well, One advice that I got from you guys is hit high rep high bar squats ass to grass with upright torso, consistent back angle and good things will happen. So, I did so and good things are happening to me. Deadlifted 200kg for 5 reps, 200kg off 3 inch deficit deadlift single beltless and high bar squatted 100kg for 20 reps beltless along with a potential belted 1 RM close to 180kg high bar - pretty cool Thanks Owen and Daire.
If you had 9 months to train towards a weightlifting goal. How would you guys approach it? I am competing in 2 months but I'm going to go rather conservative. My plan is to work towards the one 9 months from now
