I’m sorry in advance if I’m mistaken, but from what I know, for question that you asked about why men can’t touch women is because women’s value in Islam is so high. It shows your respect towards women. To touch woman, it’s sort of very rude. It’s because woman has such high regard. We believed that only women have the right to say who can touch them and it’s ideal way of that should be in the form of marriage. That’s from what I know but I’m not sure :3 Please do correct me if I’m wrong :)
Anyway, you guys are so cute >< ❤️

Actually it goes both ways, women can't also touch men (who are not their husband or related by blood) on purpose of course, with the exception of medical purpose (doctor and patient) or in case of emergency (saving someone). This is because, from my understanding of Islam, it is to prevent 'maksiat' (adultery or sex outside of marriage) which could lead to 'anak luar nikah' (bastard children) who will grow up usually in a not so proper environment(not in a proper family e.g no father), more often than not these children could grow up to be problematic adult or even criminals.(i'm speaking in general and probability so no offense to anyone).
It (maksiat) could also disrupt other marriages in case of adultery , or other family, like parents suddenly found out their underage daughter is pregnant.
Imagine this 'maksiat' being rampant in a society? it will cause a lot of problems to the society, disrupting harmony and healthy growth.
Anyway this is just me sharing my understanding, no offense to anyone and apologies if there are any mistakes.

There is this misunderstanding about touching dogs and pigs. Actually, touching dogs and pigs will not resulted to sin(haram). We just have to wash it through a proper way after touching them, it is not haram. They are just not clean(tidak suci). That is why some scholars(ustaz) say that it is better to hug a pig rather than touching a non-muhrim of opposite gender.

As a Muslim i think human relationship with God is quite similar as the relationship between child and parents...
When we were kids our parents tell us to do this..that..and don't do this..don't touch.. and sometimes we mad because all of this and ignore it sometimes but when we grow older we understand what they tell us to do and dont is actually to make us be a human..so we will follow and try as good as we can to be good human....
Our God tell us to do pray... to fast..to not touch people with opposite gender...and many more are reasonable...but as we are human we did mistakes because we are not perfect...in this cases we need to repent and try as hard as we can to not do it anymore.....
This is my opinion as a Muslim...

2:30 haikal said about that Japanese right?. I will try to explain and give example..
Actually in Islam, women = QUEEN
For sure muslim man have to treat women like a queen.. As a Queen, nobody can touch and shake hand with a Queen untill the Queen give permission.. it's called respect.. if you touch any women without their Permission, it was like you don't respect her...
women also equal to something very expensive more than everything.. you can't touch something that expensive.. untill you "buy" it... (same with women..BUT!!! if the owner(father and women it self) don't let you have it, you still can't have it)
Hopefully that's can change your perspective🤗

I really like the conversation tho. It is not merely about culture, it is about religion as well. For the dog vs women qs, I would say we don't touch women because of respect and if we go beyond this, it might lead to something worse (zina) but we don't touch dog because they are dirty BUT not all parts, only their mucus membranes like their saliva, runny nose etc. But we still can touch their dry fur

    @azifsyauqi 2 роки тому +15

Please make more content like this! I admire how mature your discussion has become! By the way, let me clarify something concerning Haikal's Japanese friend's question about women.
Actually, we cannot touch anyone who is opposed to our gender unless they are a member of our close family, such as our parents, siblings, grandparents, parents' siblings, and so on. However, there are some family members (opposite gender) who we cannot touch even if they are members of our family, such as our cousin, the spouse of one of our parent's siblings, and so on. Consider the following example: I'm a man, and my mother has a younger brother who is already married. As a result, I'm not allowed to touch his wife. Let's imagine I'm a female and my mother has a sister who is already married, thus I'm not allowed to touch her spouse. If they are our parent's siblings, however, we are allowed to touch them, even if they are opposed to our gender.
Let's keep things simple. We are allowed to marry the person with whom we are prohibited to touch or even see the aurat (a part of the body that must be hidden from others) except after we have married them. Similarly, those who we can touch and see the aurat since birth (opposite gender), we are prohibited to marry them such as our mother, siblings and so on. There are some people (opposite gender) that we are allowed to touch and some are not. This, however, does not apply to children. They can touch people who opposed their gender until they reach puberty (but not on inappropriate behaviour). The wisdom behind Islam's teaching is that it is a sign of respect for women because Islam really put women in a high place.
It's a different case when it comes to the part when we cannot touch the dog. We are prohibited to touch the dog because something in its body prevents us from performing prayers. We can touch and keep the dog if we have a legitimate reason, such as to keep our farm safe or for investigative purposes, such as a police dog to help with police investigations, but only for these reasons; otherwise, it is prohibited. If we accidentally touch the dog, we should clean ourselves by following the guideline that has been taught by our religion. However, we are not allowed to intentionally touch the dog because it is a major sin for us. If I explain it further, it becomes more complicated, but this is just a general overview to get you guys the ideas. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry for the lengthy explanation.

About dog, some Islamic scholars said the dog is impurity, but some said the saliva & sweat only that is impurity. So, if we accidentally touch it, or step on its 💩, we need to clean/wash our body/clothes/place according to Islamic rule (1 part of water mix with soil, 6 part of clean water). Being clean & ritually pure is very important as a Muslim especially because we need to establish solat 5 times a day & God loves His servants being clean, smell nice & tidy at most of the time. That's why Muslim don't raise dog as a pet inside the house as they always roaming around right. But it's permissable if the dog just stand guard at our orchard or farm or for hunting and for safety purposes.
So, it's not like being muslim means you became anti with the dogs & torture them but also not to the extend that we raise them as a pet that we play, cuddles, etc.
Thus, it's not that women is at the same level with dog. We treat women with dignity, not any men are allowed to have physical contact with them. With dogs, we touch when needed only.

To explain about what Haikal means about his situation with the girl. Regarding 'a man cannot touch a woman' it is not because they think women same level as a dog. It is because muslim man need to respect the women and take care them by not touching them recklessly. especially when the women are not their family members. We were taught in Islam that we need to have a boundaries between men and women to prevent unhealthy relationship like one night stand.

As a reminder, as a Muslim sex is haram but it will be halal when a person is married
And btw, why men & women cannot touch the reason is to avoid sex, maintain self and family dignity.
    I hope your understand 😁
PS - Kalau ada yg salah tlg betulkan ya 👍

in islam, sex is not haram, but sex before marriage is. you need to add "before marriage" nanti orang salah faham.

Good initiative but the best would be to invite two women as one Muslim woman among 4 guys does not look good especially if she is a practicing muslim.

Japan, Korea and even in a country where there is no religion, the suicide rate is very high. Because there is nothing to talk about. And if you don't believe in any god, you go into depression. This increases the suicide rate. When we are under a lot of tension, the thought comes to our mind. But now there is hope of Allah. And after praying there, they start crying ... That Allah is listening to us happens to us. We have shared. From Allah ... and this is also our belief. Praying in tears is pleasing to Allah, then it will be accepted immediately. We will find that which fills the heart with peace. And according to science, crying reduces depression. This way the suicide rate goes down.

Good job haikal, akmal and aisyah... To make people know Islam not easy actually and to follow Islam rules also not easy.. Its all about our kekuatan Iman... Off course woman and dog are different . in Islam... Unmarried man cannot touch other woman who not of their family members is because to show the respect to the woman... After all good talk everybody...🌹
