I went with my first all white high end build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 in the white phanteks nv7 case. I play on my lg c1 65 inch 4k tv. The pc is a beast and I deep clean it once a month. I play at native 2k or native 4k high settings with or without raytracing depending on the game. I do not use upscalers.
Having unbox therapy come back into my algorithm is top tier 🤝❤️
Have that same desk and monitor,. problem is that the stand is too big for the Magnus desk. You really have to use an arm in order to get your desk space back but the stand is very nice!
I can see Alienware thriving into the future. Great product designs.

Not sure if it was intentional or not but the framing of the shot where Lew was playing HD2 was a fantastic representation to those worried about viewing angles / curve nerve before buying.
Been researching all the latest drops of this panel and ironically Dell/Alienware are killing the price to performance/ specs in this panel field.
This particular angle just ironed out the last worried I had before choosing.

I got a wired AW headset, mouse and the new Alienware M18 R2 laptop and I love it. I might upgrade to the 720H headset though as the wired headset i got, the way my setup is, the wire tends to get in the way a lot.
I'm just jealous of the chair this whole video. I have been looking at that chair online for about a year and a half now and can't afford it.

Just got this same setup except i got the r15 for 2800 with a 4090. Couldnt oass it up. Now debating on 32 4k oled 240hrz or lg 45 oled 1440.
Wait until the end of the year for the HP Omen 32" 4K QD-OLD. It will have Display Port 2.1, if your going to drop $$$ make sure it can actually support 240hz with no compression. RTX 4090 should have come with DP 2.1, Nivida are just too lazy, next RTX 50 will only because their completion are now doing DP 2.1

What I would do to have this be my setup instead of my janky gaming laptop. As a kid I always wanted an Alien ware computer for some reason. I think it was their old designs.
Well with alienwsre you always get what you pay for, which is good quality. Ive always purchased their products and they last me forever. I still have the steam machine lol
Do yourself a massive favor and put this company in your rear view mirror. I had the same thoughts quite a few years back and opted to buy one... nothing but a mess out of the box. Had to send it back the next day due to it overheating. Waited 3 weeks to get it back and was still doing the same thing!
Wanted me to send it back a second time and I attempted to track down the issue myself. I figured it out when putting my hand at the back of the system and noticed there was almost no airflow out of the AIO fan. The cosmetic grill covering was the problem and was restricting airflow.
Then it started randomly rebooting while play Call of Duty... swapped out the memory thinking that was the issue, but it kept on doing it. Enough was enough!
But here's the problem... if they claim to do stress testing, then how did they not catch the overheating? And then to also miss it a 2nd time!?!?
In the end I returned it and opted to build my own for the first time. My new system was WAY better than theirs and I saved around $600! My system lasted almost 10 years.
Seriously, consider building yourself, or if your not inclined to try it (way easier than you may think)... then look at other smaller building companies like PowerGPU if you're in the U.S. as you'll not only get a great build, but one that more powerful and at around the same price, if not cheaper.

This is actually way better then i thought its good that the monitor is 0.03ms instead of 0.1ms also what nice is the fact that its slightly curved and it wouldve been nice if the kingston fury ram was replaced with the corsair dominator rgb 64b 6000hz ram 10:41

How did the screen look out of the box, alot of complaints about the packaging scratching the monitor screen in transit leaving micro scratches.
They finally put more packaging on the screen when they ship them out. Was a huge problem before and it actually happened to me. Couldn’t believe that’s all they put on the monitor for shipping

Very nice system and setup. Not sure what the current upgradeability is look. RAM and GPU maybe fine, but as Dell don’t uses off the shelf parts. It makes it harder to upgrade further down the line.

The keyboard is similar to the steelseries apex pro mini and the mouse is like the logiteach G pro X superlight 2 but the best especially for fortnite could be the finalmouse ultralight X which is 31 grams 8khz polling rate whihc dosent really matter watch optimums video and polling rate anyways the razerdeather adder v3 pro is another great gaming mouse as for monitor lg ultragear as well as samsung have done great with those 1000r curved monitors or juts 4k or oled in general therelaxingend showed this monitor in his 2023 best gaming setup asus ROG Swift PG42UQ im so obsessed with tech yet i dont have any of this stuff other then an ipad pro m1 and the magic keyboard apple pencil and jvc 30 GBP headphones 😅

@@NexGenTek nope and last i checked OriginPC makes higher end custom Work or Gaming desktop/laptop compared to Alienware AKA Dell. even the highest end Alienware desktop only gives you a basic 240mm AIO cooler which isnt enough to keep the newest and most powerful I7 or I9 cool enough when under heavy load where OriginPC gives you a 360 AIO as a cheapo cooler but can upgrade to better one or go full custom open loop liquid cooling which is better then the crap that in the alienware desktop and no this monitor doesn't obliterates my monitor and like i said the only thing it has over mine is 240hz vs mine being 144hz which really isnt anything nor does it make you a better gamer.

Those in game hud will burn in sooner or later...but i have to say the picture quality is very good...hope we soon get non organic panel tech
OLED is not ideal for people playing the same game 1000s of hours. But for Singleplayer games which your are playing less than 300 hours each it's a non issue.
Also with most HDR games you can adjust HUD brightness and dim it down which actually makes the game even more immersive because you can still see the hud but don't notice it that much when it's not as bright as usual (so you dont even have to make it transparent or so).
OLED's not what it was 10 years ago when burn-in was an actual issue. Monitor Unboxed just recently made a video with the new QD-OLED panels and 1 month in of static use, there's no sign of burn-in. He'll continue with the experiment as time goes on but to those who are paranoid of burn-in, there's a 3 year warranty
@@Relex_92what about doing productivity works ya? Maybe using excel, word, web browsing, etc maybe 4 hours per day / 80 hours per month?
Will burn in gets accelerated?
@@zaryl2kOf course it will. It doesn't matter how long the intervals are or if you use it for other content. If cumulative display time of a static element gets into the 1000s of hours it will show burn in.
Let's say you play one game and that one game has static hud elements that will burn in after let's say 2000 hours. It doesn't matter if you play that game 1 hour a week and use the monitor for other random media in the meantime or if you play that game 4-8 hours a day. It will show burn in after your playtime reaches the critical point even if it takes years to actually reach so many hours in that game. With OLED it is always about cumulative usage. So yes if you use excel or an webbrowser and after 1, 2, 5 or even 10 years of usage you came to the point where one static element was shown for 1000+ hours at the same spot you will start to see signs of burn in. I dont't know how durable these Gen3 QD OLEDs are but in general this is how burn in works. But you can greatly expand the time it takes to burn in if you lower brightness and leva the oled care features tuned on. It will take much longer to show burn in if brightness is relatively low. If you need higher Brightness for productivity I wouldn't recommend an oled. On the other hand if you are fine replacing it after 4-5 Years (3 years burn in waranty) you dont need to care at all about burn in. And again, we don't really know how durable these Displays are now. So it depends, I guess...
